THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO SHARING OF BATHROOM, KITCHEN WITH ANYONE. The apartment has beautiful hard wood floors, 12 ft ceilings, mantels, plenty of closets for your things. Your comfort is paramount to us. This apartment has everything you will need to feel at home. You have a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, microwave, coffee maker, cookware and flatware, stemware and everything needed for cooking and dinning. Clean towels, linen, soap, tooth brush, shampoo and hair dryer provided. High speed internet service and Cable television are all provided. The apartments can sleep up to 6 people. The very large loft-like bedroom has (2) queen size beds and a sofa bed. The living room also has a very comfortable sofa bed. We are only 4 blocks from the A-express train- Nostrand Ave stop, with only 12 minutes to Manhattan. Our host was difficult to contact as her mobile no. was out of service. We arrived at the property in the evening and in the dark. Fortunately a neighbour across the street saw us waiting and told us where she lived. Also on the check out day we couldn't contact her so finally ended up leaving our luggage in the apartment and taking the keys with us and going out for the day. She was very pleasant - just inaccessible. Location good for exploring the city. A great holiday!
Situé entre l'aéroport et Manhattan, l'appartement est très facilement accessible. A 800 m de l'appartement, la station de métro Nostrand-Fulton avenues permet un accès par métro express en 30 minutes à ces 2 destinations. L'appartement est spacieux et les chaises ont été remplacées après notre départ. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Merci à Coretta.
This apartment is in a dingy part of Brooklyn. Takes a day to get used to the dirtiness on the walk to the train. The apartment itself was okay. Needs a lot of upkeep: painting, deep cleaning. The bathroom was not as clean as originally thought: mold, dust, hair, etc. When we arrived, we waited outside in the cold with a 4 yr old for over an hour due to lack of communication. We didn't have contact with the owner again during our stay. Apartment is not as nice as photos portray. Security was a bit od an issue as well. There is only one lock on the main house door (which wasn't always locked and unwelcome visitors came in the main entrance)and a small little one on the apartment door. Overall, NYC was great, but I wouldn't recommend this apt to my friends. Coretta, You can't say that the lack of communication was on my part. There is an email that I sent you twice before arriving and that you never replied to. Other reviewers have also said that you sometimes take a long time to reply (or in my case, not at all). Why if you live a few doors down did you not suggest that we just ring your bell when we got there? Then, we wouldn't have had to start our vacation on a sour note. It's a good thing a nice store employee let me use his cell phone. Yes, you should have explained the bathroom dust and mold (around bath tub, I didn't even remember to mention ceiling) to us. How about that disgusting shower curtain..........? A bath mat, not towel, would be an improvement as well. These are just my opinions as a frequent traveller. I could give more. Yes, it definitely is to each his own. We have travelled all over North America and Europe and have come accross some "dingy" cities. Where we live, it's different. No one leaves garbage on the side walks and everyone takes care of their properties. On your street, we did speak to some really nice people who do take care of their homes. All in all, we did have fun in NYC. Live and learn. It was an experience. I usually do a lot of research before travelling, so I am rarely disappointed in my rental choices. Hopefully Myrtle Beach and Cancun will be true to form. All the best.

Your security and comfort is important to us. I'm not sure what the agenda of this guest is. I'm not sure that she's describing our apartment, but we do take every feed back seriously, if there's anything at all that can corrected base on this review, we will do so promptly.
