Montmartre

Un appartement parfait pour un séjour Romantique. Montmartre, ses rues pavées et ses lampadaires, ses petites ruelles parisiennes, ses restaurants et petits commerces, ses peintres, le Sacré Coeur, 2 rues plus loin... et bien sûr sans oublier cette vue imprenable du panorama de Paris. Nous avons passé un séjour parfait. L'appartement est très confortable, bien équipé, propre, et chaleureux. Andrea et Roberta sont effectivement des hôtes très aimables.

Had a wonderful stay at "Mansarde" and would definitely stay here again. The apartment itself is lovely, cosy and well equipped, and the location is excellent. The night-time view from the main window over Place du Tetre and the city is priceless. Great local food-shopping on the other side of "le butte" - so even though you're in one of Paris' main touristy areas it's very easy to get away from it all. Andrea and Roberta are excellent hosts; very flexible and helpful.

If you are looking for a compact and bijoux place to take your holiday at the heart of Parisien life - this is it !. This comfortable appartment has all amenities provided to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. You do need a moderate level of personal fitness though as the appartment is at the top of three flights of stairs - and if you are site seeing on foot, the Montmartre area is fairly steep with LOTS of stairs to climb. We found the most convenient Metro Station at Lamarck, a short walk (not steep) down Rue Norvins and Avenue Junot. This station gives access to central Paris in about 10 minutes. Prices in Paris for food and drink are HIGH. About 2 - 3 times higher than the UK, for example a simple salad is 14 GBP for one. There are also lots of queues at the main attractions so book your entrance tickets online before travelling to France so you can jump the queue ! We really enjoyed being at the centre of life in Place du Tertre. The atmosphere is relaxed and most of the local people speak good English. This appartment suited us well as a family of three and we really love the little bathroom !
