Nearby attractions

The Hideaway is located in a quiet valley in Villa Conti, a peaceful little village between Amandola (6 miles) & Comunanza (2 miles) in Le Marche. The attractive spa town of Sarnano is only 15 miles away & we are ideally situated for both the ski resorts at Sassotetto & the beaches of the Adriatic (both within a 40 minute drive). Our nearby town of Amandola has a beautifully porticoed main square where you can sit outside one of the cafes & enjoy a coffee before wandering up through the old town's cobbled streets to view the stunning Monte Sibillini. Nothing can be more beautiful, whatever the season, from the crisp snow in the winter to the Sibillini National Park with its carpet of Spring flowers. The sandy beaches of Grottammare & San Benedetto are inviting in the Summer & the Gola dell’Infernaccio makes a stunning Autumn ramble. The Monti Sibillini National Park covers nearly 2 million acres with some of the highest mountains in the Appennines, (Monte Vettore being the highest at 2,476m). The park offers walks of all levels to some of the most delightful yet least discovered areas in the whole of Italy.

Reviews for this holiday apartment villa

by HouseTrip ...

Being passionate about Italy we thought it time to take our two small sons to the country to experience it for themselves. Buying a holiday remotely (online or even via an agent) is always a risk but in this instance, from our first contact with Sarah and Mark we were put at ease by their friendly emails and their willingness to share information.

On arrival (we flew to Rome) and the drive, although long was uneventful and the scenery over the mountains breathtaking. The Hideaway itself was everything we had hoped for; the gardens, the pool, the hosts, the apartment and the welcome (Mark and Sarah even did some shopping for us prior to our arrival to accommodate our rather varied food intollerances)!!

Throughout our stay help was always at hand if needed - overhearing the advice given to fellow guests who were property-hunting in the area, I would not hesitate to ask Mark and Sarah to help if we were ever in the lucky position of being able to consider buying a property in Italy.

All in all, a wonderfully relaxing break in stunning surroundings made all the more comfortable by hosts who really have thought of everything to make their guests' stay as magical as possible!! Jolka_Fasolka - Reading, UK - August 2009

We had one of our best holidays ever. Mark and Sarah were fabulous hosts and we wanted for nothing. The accomodation was top class. We were there with two young children aged 6 and 3. The had a great time in the pool and playing with rusty the dog not to mention feeding the hens. There was lots for us to see and do. The restaurants were fab and great value. The hideaway was the most relaxing and stunning place we have been to on holidays to date.
