Instant booking rentals can be booked directly within a few minutes, much like you book a hotel room on the internet. Only our highest quality rentals are chosen to be featured in our instant booking selection.
To book rentals which aren't instant booking (i.e. "on request"), you need to send a booking enquiry to confirm availability with the owner first before booking
To book "on request" rentals, you need to send a booking enquiry to confirm availability with the owner before booking. You will receive the owner's answer to your enquiry directly by email.
We advise sending enquiries to the 3 or 4 "on request" rentals that interest you most. As soon as you receive a positive answer, you should book immediately; waiting for other replies increases the chances that available rentals will be booked by someone else.

Reviews for this holiday apartment
Very good facilities. Owner supplied milk, cereals, etc which were not expected but really appreciated. The unit is very well positioned so we walked all over Edinburgh! Owner very hospitable, helpful and friendly.
The castle looks amazing at night all lit up! Worth walking back from dinner to see & take pictures with it in the background.
We were visiting Edinburgh for for a family reunion and decided to stay in an apartmentinstead of a hotel. I am so glad we did as everything about the accommodation was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for Gordon. When we mentioned that my grandson was 18 months he went and brought a high chair from his own home for us to use. The bottle of wine and chocolate left in the kitchen on our arrival was a nice touch. I definitely would use it again.
The location for city centre was good as you could walk in abot 15 minutes and yet the apartment was in a very quiet area no noise at night.
All in all a good stay. Nice location - quiet at night. Before, we've stayed closer to Princess Street and heard bar, club and tourist noises after hours. Good night sleep at the Old Schoolhouse. The kitchen warmed up quite fast between the overhead lights and cooking. Perhaps a fan? Purely aesthetic, a darker rug throughout would hide wear and tear. Gordon was very easy to work with even from across the ocean. No problems, no stress arranging payment, picking up keys or meeting the day of check-in. We like easy! Thank you.
We visit family so usually just sit inside lounges, drink tea and chat. Though we always enjoy walking the Royal Mile for exercise and people watching. And we try to catch a meal at Henderson's at 94 Hanover Street - good vegetarian food. Dean Village, west of downtown, is worth a walk around, too.
