The apartment is superbly situated right in the heart of the New Town. It is tastefully decorated and furnished to the very highest standards. Gordon was an excellent host.
Our stay was for 3 nights and we felt it was very good value for money, the apartment was very airy, lots of room and very clean. Facilities in the apartment were excellent. Lynedoch Apartment is very central and within easy walking distance of Prices St, Georges St. and Waverley Station where there are different bus tours available. The is also a bus stop just across the road from the apartment which arrives every few minutes.
Scotts monument is worth a visit and of course the Royal Mile with Edinburgh Castle and Hollyrood Palace while coffee and scones at the Palace are just heaven. Shopping in Edinburgh was brilliant with lots of coffee shops when you get exhausted.
Artfully decorated and well maintained flat with beautiful big windows, overlooking powerfully scenic Edinburgh buildings. Also, well located. Owner was extremely hospitable helping us with our bags and even included warm welcoming touches such as wine and chocolate.
We really enjoyed eating at "Centrotre." An Italian restaurant on George Street. It was approx. 7 min. from the flat. "Browns" was good as well, also on George St.
