Located in the heart of lively Balham, Fernlea Garden is just 300 metres away from Balham Underground and Mainline Stations - having you into Victoria in 10 minutes and the 'West End' in 15 minutes. This fabulous apartment - recently refurbished to a very high standard - has all the mod cons you could wish for and is perfect for business executives or discerning holidaymakers wanting a stylish 'home from home' in London. Balham has a huge choice of bars, restaurants and shops, including both Waitrose and Sainsburys. The famous Bedford Pub/Banana Cabaret live music and comedy venue is at the end of the road!
Only a few steps down off the street level, you'll find easy access into the flat - even with the heaviest luggage. The apartment itself has a light and bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with a large flatscreen LCD TV over a hole-in-the-wall gas fireplace. There is also a wireless internet connection. The lounge gives onto a private terrace and then onto a beautiful garden with lawn, flowerbeds and a decked patio. It's a haven of tranquility after the buzz of the 'big city' and great for a spot of relaxation or a BBQ. The limestone bathroom has features normally only found in a 5 star hotel, the designer kitchen comes fully equipped and the quiet bedroom has plenty of storage cupboards.
And if it's wide open spaces you're after,- for a stroll or a jog - Clapham, Wandsworth and Tooting Commons (boasting Tooting Bec Lido, the UK's largest & Europe's 2nd largest freshwater pool) are all within a few minutes walk.
