Spacious, luxury and newly refurbished accommodation. Ideal for exploring Central London attractions. The apartment has its own off road parking. The Penthouse is situated on the grounds of a grand Victorian Mansion, with a huge garden next to the grounds of Henry the 8th childhood home, Eltham Palace. It sleeps up to six persons with two large double bedrooms (both en suites) and a double sofa bed in the living room. Modern kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, washer/drier, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, large living/ dining room with real effect gas fire. Oak wooden floors throughout the living rooms/hall, carpet in the bedrooms, limestone tiles in the bath/shower rooms. Lots of wardrobe space throughout. Large TV, DVD player, Wireless Internet access.

Reviews for this holiday apartment
We spent six days in September in the Coach House, and we must say it was a really nice time. On arrival Lana, the owner, gave us a warm welcome, and despite being pretty late she devoted some time to explain us the house and the surroundings (supermarkets, etc), appart from giving us some tea and milk for the night.
Our family of four grown up people felt very comfortably in the house, two sleeping rooms and baths upstairs and living room and kitchen downstairs, everything spacious enough and the kitchen having everything needed. The house was well mantained and the furniture as new.
The garden was a pleasure to stay at. So were the surroundings and neighbouhood. There was also a great supermarket not any far were you could buy everything needed.
Our trips to London were pretty straightforward: two train stations available (at about the same distance from the house, just a short walk) and very little waiting for the trains at any time. Just 15-20 minutes to Charing Cross. We didn't find it to be an inconvenience, really.
Lana, the owner is a very nice person and is always willing to give some advice if needed and to solve any question wich may arise.
So, to sum up: we all were very happy there.

Perfect close to London getaway
The owners were gracious, inviting, accomodating and very warm. From the quick email response to questions and requests we had, it was a wonderful getaway for us for a long weekend. The house is situated evenly between two close (5-7 min walk) train stations that take no more than 20 minutes to get into London. It was wonderful with a small child because of the peace and quiet that we could come back to in the evenings. It is a large, very modern, well-maintained and decorated apartment with great amenities and a nice little rooftop terrace and views.
We highly recommend this for people who don't mind the little bit of travel in order to get the space, warm service, comfortable beds and gracious hosts that are so refreshing to find. With a great Sainbury's and other shops nearby it makes perfect sense to give this a try if you like a bit of peace after a long day of sightseeing and walking around London.

Trip to London
We are a family of 4 (2 daughters, 12 & 15years old) and we stayed in the penthouse for 1 week in june 2009. It's a very comfortable and spacious flat with a fantastic rooftop terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. Central London can easily be reached within 30 minutes from the local train station which is in walking distance (10 min.) from the flat. In Eltham there are also many shops, pubs and takeaway restaurants. After a day in London it was always nice to come back - we really enjoyed our stay!
