Description of this holiday apartment
Hi We are renting for your vacations in Paris an apartment with 2 bedrooms , 2 bathrooms, a nice living room and a full equiped kitchen .
This little house with 3 floors and a private yard is the ideal place to stay in Paris, enjoying the city, and, in the same time, enjoying a quiet retreat from the big city life.
It can easily and comfortably accommodate 4 - 6 people.
It is located rue des Couronnes in the 20th arrondissement of Paris , Close to Parc de Belleville , Père Lachaise.
The apartment is well served by public transport :
[ Metro lines] Couronnes(line 2) - within 1 minute walk
- will take you directly to Montmartre , Sacré-Cœur , Champs-Elysees
[ Bus 96 ] within 1 minute walk
-from Montparnasse or Place St-Michel and passing through Châtelet, the Place des Vosges in the Marais, and up to Oberkampf, JP Timbaud, Belleville and Ménilmontant.
You can use the 96 to shop in the chic area around Odeon, or the wonderful market on Richard Lenoir,
and stroll through the famous cemetery at Montparnasse, where the illustrious dead include Serge Gainsbourg and Sam Becket.
Bus 96 is also a great way of taking in the Picasso Museum .

Die Wohnung lag wie beschrieben sehr verkehrsgünstig und war wirklich nur eine Minute von der nächsten Metrostation weg. Bis zum Eiffelturm war man ca.30 min mit der Metro unterwegs.
Direkt ums Eck gab es ein Parkhaus und das Auto kann gut bewacht dort für 22 Euro pro Tag untergebracht werden. Auch Bäcker, Supermarkt, etc... wie beschrieben alles gut zu Fuss zu erreichen. Man lebt in einem multikulturellen Viertel ohne viel Tourismus aber mit noch sehr viel Gastfreundlichkeit in den Geschäften und Cafés.
Die Wohnung selbst war schlechter als beschrieben. Von der gemütlichen Einrichtung auf den Fotos war nicht mehr viel übrig, sie wirkte wie leergeräumt und war nur noch sehr spartanisch eingerichtet (vorallem im Wohnzimmer).
Auch in der Küche gab es nur noch unzureichend Geschirr welches mit mit Pappbechern und Einweg-Plastiktellern und Plastikbesteck ergänzt wurde. Auch die Kaffeemaschine fehlte.
Mit etwas Humor konnte man damit allerdings ein paar Tage ganz gut leben.;-) Wirklich negativ war die Sauberkeit der beiden Bäder, die dringend eine ordentliche Grundreinigung gebraucht hätten und von Kalk und Schimmel "befallen" waren.
Schade um diese sonst sehr originelle, nostalgische und sehr liebevoll renovierte Wohnung.
