When you book, you pay HouseTrip. We only wire the money to the owner after the start of your stay. Like that, if there is any problem, just give us a call and we can refund you.
Want to cancel your stay? HouseTrip owners have to choose between 4 standard cancellation policies (you can see which of the policies applies to your rental during the booking process).
Depending on the policy, you can often be reimbursed the full rental price if you cancel in advance!

Find your ideal rentals
Use HouseTrip’s search function to find the rentals that suit you. By selecting the dates and number of guests in the search, you can refine the results and see the total prices for your stay.
We advise you select the 3 to 4 rentals that you like the most. -
Send booking enquiries
A large majority of HouseTrip’s rentals are “on demand”. This means that you must ask the owners if you can proceed with the booking before actually booking.
To be on the safe side, we advise you send booking enquiries to the 3 to 4 rentals you like the most.
Owners generally reply to booking enquiries within a few hours. You receive the owner’s reply directly by email. -
Book
We advise you to book the first rental which confirms availability. You should proceed quickly with your booking: owners get many enquiries for the same dates and the first guest to book gets the stay!
To book, simply click on the link included in the email confirming availability.
Booking is simple: you pay for your stay directly with a credit card.
