Holiday in Montmartre

Once a home to Paris’ famous creative scene – evident by the artistic legends referred to in the shops and cafes of Place du Tertre – the area is now a little more gentrified and very easy to navigate around. Once you’ve taken your photo on the steps of the Sacre-Couer you can spend some time at some of the area’s lesser-known sights like the picturesque Cimetière de Montmartre or learn about surrealism at Espace Salvador Dali. Walk a little further west and you’ll find yourself in the peaceful park of Jardin Saint Vincent, which is all that is now left of the wild forest that used to cover Montmartre. With the banks of the Seine, Arc de Triomphe and the Eifel Tower all only a handful of Metro stops away you are in a great position to enjoy a full Paris experience.
