This superb first floor studio apartment of 28m2 can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. With high ceilings and lots of light, the property features one main room with a double bed on a mezzanine, a double sofa bed on the lower level, with access on to a private balcony. There is a fully equipped kitchenette with microwave oven and everything you need for preparing your meals. You can enjoy your dinners at home on the dining table provided. In the bathroom there is a multi-jet shower and heated towel rail, ideal for unwinding after a long day out shopping.
For your comfort and convenience there is a large flat screen TV with satellite channels and free WIFI internet access.
The nearest tube station is Notting Hill Gate (3 minutes away on foot) where you can take the Central, District and Circle lines taking you all over the Capital with ease. There are many tourist attractions you can walk to: Kensington Palace, Museum of Brands, Serpentine Gallery, Albert Memorial, to name just a few. To escape the hustle and bustle in only five minutes you can reach the picturesque Hyde Park, a tranquil oasis in one of the Capital’s most affluent areas.

Srinivasan I generally don’t like to bad reviews at all because I know how much depends on reviews when make hotel selection decisions. I was extraordinarily disappointed with the whole experience. For once I was very very disappointed with the booking process and very very disappointed with the owner of the apartment. I had paid and accepted booking for Marble Arch with the owner (Konstantinos). One week before my arrival at the Marble Arch apartment, the booking was cancelled and then the hellish process began. It took so many calls to house trip to several people in the owners’ office and then to house trip.com. I did not get the address for this apartment until the very last day. When I got the apartment address, I called from London Paddington station to have someone to check me in little before 3 pm. I was made to wait outside the apartment from 2:30pm to 4pm. I was sitting outside with my bags for 1.5 hrs and then I had do drag all my bags and make a phone call from a pay phone booth in front of underground and then walk back with my bags and then half-a-hour later, someone let me in. I asked for extra-hour for check out on the day of my departure, both the owner and flat manager refused this small favor. We have two small children and several bags so this created some havoc for us. The apartment was way to small and way too hot with no air circulation, no fan and bathroom sink was leaking and the loft carpet was very dirty and stained. So there was no place to brush teeth or shave because the sink was leaking. We called the building manager to do something about it, but alas nothing was done for the entire duration of the stay. The building manager too a look and said that it was not his problem and this was an issue for the maintenance person. Although the owner charges a 50 pound cleaning fee, the fridge and the sink was not cleaned at all, rotten food was in the fridge, and the fridge was leaking, the entire time we were there, and the microwave was not working. See I would have cancelled the whole thing and gone with a regular hotel, the problem was that the cancellation of the Marble Arch apartment left me with no choice, but stay with House Trip and with this owner. I did not have any wiggle room and did not have any time to shop around for another hotel or rental. What kind of establishment cancels a secure and paid booking. This is simply baffling to me. Look this is a service industry, which depends on providing good service to its guests. I have stayed in major hotels and I have become used to certain levels of service. I had misjudged that House Trip would also provide this high level of service and was sorely disappointed. I am still waiting for house trip refund some of my monies. The only positive thing about this place was that the location was good. That is why I am giving one star; if there was any room I would have given a ranking of zero stars. Otherwise this was a very poor and bitter experience and made me and my family very tense the entire trip. I would not recommend dealing with House Trip or with this owner ever again. Sorry again for the bad review, but unfortunately this is all true.
