Situated in the centre of Psematismenos village, rooms are available on a Bed and Breakfast basis, at this idyllic sheltered property, the well appointed rooms have french windows that open onto balconies with stunning views of the local area and overlook the private pool and garden.
A BBQ and secluded seating area are ideal for calming and tranquil relaxing candle lit evenings.
Each tastefully furnished room is guaranteed for comfort and relaxation and all have air conditioning.
There are two shower rooms (with WC's) and also a separate ground floor WC.
All rooms are serviced daily and bathrooms are provided with towels, soaps and shower gels etc. Hairdryers are provided in all rooms.
There is also the use of washing machine, iron and ironing board if required.
There are sun beds around the pool with umbrellas or shade from the pergola after a peaceful swim or seating on the veranda area, ideal for relaxing the day away in the sun.
Breakfast is a choice of cooked English breakfast or local meats and cheeses, fresh fruit salad, delicious local yoghurt and honey, lashings of toast, homemade marmalade and jams, orange juice and pot of fresh brewed coffee or tea. All products are locally sourced.
Psematismenos is a delightful village set apart from the usual tourist tracks, offering the perfect base for touring this lovely Mediterranean Island, situated as it is midway between the towns of Nicosia, Limassol and Larnaca, each only 25 minutes drive away.
Located only a 3-minute drive from the sea, Psematismenos is a village that has a local church, a mini market, a bank and a local tavern.
Psematismenos village is located between the 3 main cities of Cyprus: Larnaka-Limassol-Nicosia. It is approximately 30 Km from Larnaka airport and 30Km from Limassol, 50Km from Nicosia and 2Km from the sea.
The history of Psematismenos can be traced back more than 600 years. The small, pretty village that has kept its character with very interesting vernacular architecture. It has two ancient churches, the Greek Orthodox church of Ayia Marina (Byzantine with additions in the 19th century). In the area you can find the Neolithic settlement in Chirokitia (3Km approx.), the Neolithic settlement in Kalavasos (3Km approx.), the "Angeloktisti" Byzantine church in Kiti (15Km approx.) and Zygi on the seaside with its famous fish taverns.
The village is surrounded by olive and citrus groves and agricultural land, which forms the basis of the local economy, it has charming cobbled streets and original village houses - many restored to retain their traditional charm.
