Incredible duplex condo located in the famous and historic Harlem neighborhood called Striver’s Row. The lower level boasts large living room with 40 inch TV and a recliner chair that can massage you after you have had a long day touring the city, a large outdoor garden, big eat-in kitchen, ½ bathroom that has a washer/dryer and a large comfortable living room.
Upstairs has the two bedrooms and a full bath. Tree branches touch the windows of each room with the musical delight of birds singing songs in the morning. It feels like a magical oasis or cabin in the woods only its in the heart of New York City.
The Condo has a private outdoor space that feels like an intimate get-away, a rarity in New York City.
This Condo has been recently renovated with hardwood floors complete with decorative trim. The Condo sleeps 7 comfortably, with two twin beds in the master bedroom (the green room) and a full size futon (sleeps 2). The smaller bedroom (the red room) has a full size bed (sleeps 2), a day bed (1 person) and a mounted TV that guests can enjoy.
We also have two air mattresses that can accommodate 2 more people (so will consider up to 9 people).
The condo boasts:
*Duplex condo that has 2 beds upstairs and a full marble bath. Each room has windows with a view of trees that actually has birds that sing in the morning.
*Downstairs has the large living room that is perfect for entertaining or to be entertained.
*1/2 marble bathroom that has the washer/dryer tucked away
*Large Eat-in Kitchen with lighting that can be used to create an intimate dining setting. Kitchen also comes equipped with pots and pans for cooking and a microwave and dishwasher
*Free internet with wifi, cable. Easy parking on the street.
*Big garden outdoor space that is shaded by a cherry tree.

*one block from the C, B trains,
*three blocks to the express 2,3;
*15 - 20 minutes to 34th street, (Macy’s and)
*15 - 20 minutes 42nd street (Times Square)
*10 min walk to 125th street (The Famous Apollo Theatre)
*10 minute walk to shopping and local dining (North to 145th street and South to 125th street.
*10 min ride to Central Park
*2 minutes walk to beautiful St. Nicholas Park
*5 minutes walk to New York City College.
*Local and express buses pass along 8th ave. in front of the condo or you can take advantage of street parking that is easy to find.
NB: We love this apartment and are happy to have someone else enjoy staying here. We just ask that you be respectful of the apartment and be mindful of our neighbors. L'appartement est bien place, non loin du metro, en face d'un arret de bus. Le quartier est tranquille et vaut la peine d'etre parcouru. Nous etions 7 (5 adultes, 2 ados), le maximum pour l'appartement, confortable dans l'ensemble meme si on regrette le manque de chaises et l'imperfection du menage.
A very well situated appartmemt, close to the subway and buses and away from the crowds. We were a party of seven people and we had plenty of space. The housework could be done a little more thoroughly and the place would then be ideal,

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par nos hôtes. Le duplex est bien équipé et bien situé à quelques pas du métro, dans un quartier tranquille avec toutes les commodités à proximité. L'avenue est un peu bruyante mais la circulation se calme rapidement le soir.Nous y reviendrons à une autre période car il y a trop de monde à New york pour Noël et c'est guère agréable.

The apartment was exactly as described; large, bright and very spacious. Armel and Cassian took the time to explain all the amenities as well as how to get around town (this was our first trip to NYC). We loved being able to make breakfast in the morning and then walk just a couple of streets over to the subway and head downtown for the day. The separate rooms allowed for privacy and having two bathrooms made things very convenient. Thanks for being so welcoming and helpful; we'll certainly think of you on our next trip to the Big Apple!
