Where to eat? In Genoa you can get a very good restaurants (tasteful wines and dishes) with a reasonable prices. Before to continue your adventure try to taste the Focaccia (a special type of bread) and the Pasta al Pesto (delicious spaghetti with basil sauce). The originals receipts are unique and exquisite from Genoa.
Where to buy? near to Piazza di Ferrari there are located the main shopping street in Genoa (Via XX di Settembre), .You can also take Genoa as base to visit Portofino, Rapallo and The Cinque Terre.

Great stay! Toby is a great host: he helped us find a free parking spot near the appartments then told us where to eat or buy product! Very useful! The appartment is nice too. Very quiet even though in a street extremely close to the port (museo del mare) which was super convenient! The bed is confortable and Toby even provides the slippers! :) Only downside is the shower which is very slow and not so hot but its ok if you don't want to take a bath!! Overall a very pleasant stay! I recommend!

C'était parfait ! Il n'y a vraiment rien à dire. L'appartement est très agréable, très bien placé, il y a tout ce qu'il faut. Tobias et Edith, les propriétaires, sont adorables, ce fut un véritable plaisir de les rencontrer et de discuter avec eux. On espère vivement revenir très rapidement !

Our host was so welcoming and helpful. He went above and beyond to make our time in Genoa enjoyable. The location was very convenient for walking to the train station, and a short drive to the airport. Plenty of restaurants nearby. We enjoyed sightseeing along the harbor.

Host response Thanks for your review dear Magali. I'm so happy you liked to spend a time in our spot. We would like to make a clarify about your downside. The power of water system is perfect, i've controlled it. That day was slow because someone of your friends turn off the water pump, so for that reason you had slow pressure and not hot water. We didn't know that you had turned off the water pump. Arriving the new guests they tried to use the water and the water pump broke. So for the new guest and me was a huge displeasure economic and moral. My suggestion for your future travel, it's if something doesn't work, communicate immediately to your host, maybe he has the solution and everything goes more smoothly. Now the button to turn on/off the pump is hide so for the future we will not have the problem that a guest comes and turn off the water pump. Thanks in advanced and wish you all the best!!!
