We find ourselves at the intersection of various quarters of Rome. From this area you can get in touch with the manifold sceneries that render this city so fascinating. On one side, there is the elegant residential area of San Saba with its villas from the beginning of the 20th century, antique churches and gardens hidden behind tall gates. On the other side, there is the folkloric Testaccio quarter, noted for its many Trattorias and night life. In front of the apartment you can see the Aurelian Walls, and within a short, pleasant walk you can reach the Baths of Caracalla, the Circus Maximus and, if you feel up to it, even the Forum Romanum and Collosseum.
The Ostiense area is at the back of the apartment; here you can stock up on typical Italian foods in the stores and restaurants of the modern Eataly building.
Just a few steps away from the apartments, at the Piazzale dei Partigiani, you will find many bus lines (main station), the trains going to Ostiense station, and the metro (Piramide stop); which all together comprehensively cover the entire city.
The bus line 175 stops actually right in front of the building and connects Ostiense station with Termin, bypassing various historically interesting places and following an itinerary that seems to just have been designed as a Tourist guide.
We are thus in a quiet residential area rich in great treasures that can be reached by foot or through one of the numerous means of public transportation readily available.
The apartment has a surface area of 200 square meters and is located in a residential area in the city centre. It can accommodate up to 12 people and is situated on the first floor which can be reached by elevator.
There are five bedrooms in total, three of which are triple bedrooms with a double and a single bed each, and the other two being furnished one with a double, the other with a single bed. Two of the triple bedrooms face towards a pleasant balcony. From the bright master bedroom, arranged with antique furniture and flooded by light entering through the windows on two sides, the large terrace can be accessed directly, as well as through the third triple bedroom.
For a maximum of comfort, there are three separate bathrooms, each complete with a crystal shower box and refined with decorative mosaic and high quality tiles.
The kitchen is completely furnished with state-of-the-art utensils and kitchen equipment: dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator and freezer are all available to you.
On cold winter days the large living room with its comfortable sofas in front of the 40" LED TV with DVD player and Sky subscription is the ideal place to come together. The large crystal dining table offers space for all 12 guests.
On warm summer days you can instead fully enjoy the large terrace of 100 square meters, furnished with a dining table and an outside sitting area, where you can relax after a long day of sightseeing in the city.
Other apartment features are air conditioning in all rooms, a washing machine and a free wireless internet connection at your disposal.
The apartment has recently been completely restructured. The antique furniture has been maintained and integrated with more modern furniture, together creating an elegant and welcoming atmosphere.
Additional fees, if applicable, must be arranged directly with the Host after booking. Only accommodation fees are payable when booking through the HouseTrip platform.
Martin My group of 8 really enjoyed staying. Both the service concerning the apartment and the apartment itself were excellent. Roomy, elegant furniture and every appliance families need to feel at home. The location makes it really easy to jump into the metro or just walk to the Baths to Caracalla, then further along to the Circus Maximus and the Colloseum. Everyone was very satisfied. - Martin (Vienna, Austria)
Richard We loved Rome and we loved our apartment. Three generations (nine persons, ages 11 to 77)enjoyed a week. The apartment was clean, very well furnished, quiet (for Rome), and an excellent location. Transportation by Metro and bus was nearby. There were ample supermarkets, bakery, restaurants and shops convenient (We found Todi market at Vialle Giotto the best and most convenient). The young man who met us (Sylvano) was very helpful in explaining the apartment and vicinity. Two small issues (a wobbly kitchen faucet and air conditioner leaky water)were promptly fixed when we called the office. Every aspect of our visit to Rome was a delight. The apartment was beyond our expectations. We hope to return some day. We completely recommend our experience to anyone interested in a large apartment in Rome
Helena We were a party of four ladies and this apartment was perfect for us. Very well equipped, clean and peaceful. Connections to city center and airport (bus, tram, metro, train) are only 2-3 blocks away. No disturbing traffic on the bypassing street. And a very nice italian beef restaurant in the next block down the street.

Instant bookingInstant booking rentals can be booked directly within a few minutes, much like you book a hotel room on the internet. Only our highest quality rentals are chosen to be featured in our instant booking selection.
On requestTo book "on request" rentals, you need to send a request to confirm availability with the owner before booking. You will receive the owner's answer to your request directly by email. We advise sending requests to 3 or 4 "on request" rentals that interest you most. As soon as you receive a positive answer, you should book immediately; waiting for other replies increases the chances that available rentals will be booked by someone else.
