This nice flat is in a building which dates back to the late 1800, only 80 meters from Vatican’s Museums and 5 minutes’ walk from the Basilica.
It has been completely refurbished in June 2010 and it is tastefully decorated.
The apartment is ideal for a couple or a family and is composed of one double bedroom and by a large dining room with a sofa that can become a comfortable double bed , Satellite system with LCD TV is also provided.
The kitchen is new and fully equipped: electric oven, microwave oven and washing machine and, to make your stay even more comfortable, the flat is equipped with a air conditioning.
The flat is situated only 80 meters from the main entrance of the Vatican Museum and a short walk from the Basilica.
This place makes a perfect base for exploring the city, The position is in fact central for visiting the eternal city, either on foot or by means of transport.
Just outside the door you can have a lovely stroll visiting major monuments, churches, museums and other places of interest such as Castel S.Angelo, Borgo Pio, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Campo dei Fiori, Fontana di Trevi e Piazza di Spagna.
All the bus stops and the tube station “Ottaviano-San Pietro” are around the corner. You can find whatever you need:every kind of shop,restaurant, Pizzeria, gelateria, fast food, supermarket, disco with live music, you will find also a characteristic market with a big garage where you can easily park your car.

This was a fantastic apartment located about 10 mins walk from Ottaviano metro station and basically a coupe of streets away from the Vatican Museum. The apartment is on the first floor in a very secure complex with a lift if you need it. Inside, it is just beautiful with everything presented perfectly-it is obvious there has been a lot of time and care taken. There is everything you could really need there including information about Rome with maps, etc and it is extremely neat and tidy. The host Ilaria is very friendly, helpful and flexible which we found out as we arrived later to the time we had pre-arranged due to train cancellations. I was travelling with my mother but this apartment would also suit friends or a couple. We just loved it and felt very welcome from the time we set foot in the place. I would definitely stay here again.
