2-room-apartment (58 sqm) with living area and a eating space for four people, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, friendly bedroom and balcony (south-east side). A comfortable bed, a large extendable sleep couch including sufficient bed clothes and towels. You live in a perfect position of Berlin!
TV, Midi-set, generous space for luggage and clothes. Full equipped kitchen with electric stove, fridge, dishes from wine glass to frying pan, cutlery, coffee machine, toaster serves the fast breakfast as well as an extended dinner.
The apartment is situated in Schoeneberg district, a central area close to Kudamm, Berlin`s famous shopping and lounging mile. You live between city-west and city-east in optimal situation of an interesting scene between Kudamm and Potsdamer Platz and close to Tiergarten, Berlin`s largest city park, reputed to be one of the most beautiful parks in Europe.
Numerous shopping opportunities close to the lively cultural-, scenic- and night life directly before the door. A large and beautiful market (Winterfeldmarkt) very near by, reputed as one of the most interesting markets in Berlin.
All prices are shown in Euros and include VAT at the current rate of 19%. There is a one-off charge of EUR 35 for cleaning the apartment at the end of your stay. Please note that these prices are not valid during major events, public holidays and other holiday periods (please ask for an offer).

In Berlin you find a very dense public transportation net. Many sights are directy and rapidly accessible. Because of the central location most guests leave their cars parked or do not even bring it along at all. The apartment lies directly at U-train station Nollendorfplatz in the western city near Kudamm and Zoological garden, the Zoo with the world`s highest number of species. Several underground lines, (night -) buses and a taxi stand are right in front of the door.

The nearest motorway exit is situated 3 kilometres away - south of the flat - and will take you only a couple of minutes by car. It is called Innsbrucker Platz.
Since 1st January 2008 Berlin's inner city is an 'environmental zone' where only cars that are up to emission standards are allowed. You need a sticker with information about the emission standard of your car.
(U-Bahnhof) Ernst-Reuter-Platz, there you change into the line U2 in the direction of Pankow and get off at the U-station Nollendorfplatz (27 min.).
From Schönefeld airport: take the S9 (urban railway) to the station Warschauer Strasse, change into the underground line U1 in the direction of Uhlandstrasse and and get off at the station Nollendorfplatz (50 min.).
From Hauptbahnhof (the main train station) you travel with the S-Bahn (the urban railway)) and get off at the the station Zoologischer Garten. From there you take the U2 in the direction direction of Pankow to the station Nollendorfplatz (17 min.).

Convenient for subway but a little bit surprised by the prostitutes on the corner! Apartment is a bit sparce in terms of comfortable places to sit. Other apartments we have rented have had welcome packages or at least lists of things to do, information on the trains, sites, etc. This one did not. It was easy to arrange for the key from the maid. Based on other apartments we have rented, I would try for a different place next time.
Clean and tidy, basic apartment in a good location and two minutes from the U Bahn. Full of light in the mornings, a mini-supermarket across the road and a LIDL five minutes down the road. Host was welcoming, spoke English perfectly. Bathroom light a little too dark for shaving, easier to use the mirror in the hall. Internet connection pretty slow for the city. Overall I'm happy with my experience and would return.
