“Casa Paradiso” is a private house located in the green Lucchesi hills between ancient villas and churches. It is newly renovated, maintaining its original features and with modern facilities. The rental is for the top floor space which has its own entrance and privacy. This is in a very nice peaceful location which also benefits from being not to far away from the transport network.
Sleeps 4 adults plus 2 children. The house has 2 bedrooms with a double and queen size bed, two bathrooms, one of which has a shower, living room with a fireplace and a folding out settee for two people and a folding out armchair for one person. A fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and in the corridor there is a door that opens out to the terrace.
The house is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards from which the owners make wine and olive oil. In this house you can definitely feel as if you were in a Tuscan postcard especially sitting out on the terrace where you can soak up the sunshine and admire the beautiful views of Lucca and in the distance the Apuane Alps.
For the energetic, surrounding the house there are walking trails and countryside. The greatest benefit of this house is for touring Tuscany as within 10 - 15 minutes you can be on the main roads for Pisa and Florence etc. The beach can be accessed within 15 - 20 minutes by car.
Gattaiola is a charming little village 4 km south-west of Lucca and famous for some of the most beautiful villas in the Lucchese area, Villa Rossi (16th century), Villa De Notter (16th century) and Villa Pera (17th century). It’s also famous for the building next to “Casa Paradiso” which was a 12th century convent and its church, St. Andrew’s which dates back to 1100.
Un estupendo alojamiento en un lugar extraordinario. La casa impecable en cuanto a limpieza, equipamiento e incluso decoración. Debo decir que las fotografías no hacen jusicia al alojamiento: es mucho mejor de lo que cabría pensar al verlas. Los anfitriones en el punto justo entre la calidez y la prudencia. El entorno inmejorable, inmerso en el campo toscano, tranquilo, silencioso, a menos de 5 Km de la bellísima ciudad de Lucca. Una estancia deliciosa.
Das Obergeschoß eines im traditionellen Stil sanierten, ländlichen Hauses ist sehr gut, praktisch und bis ins Detail ausgestattet und bietet dem Gast durch seine ruhige aber stadtnahe Lage sowohl die Möglichkeit ländliche Ruhe zu genießen wie auch die umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten (Pisa, Florenz, Vinci ...) zu besuchen. Die sehr freundlichen und überaus hilfsbereiten Gastgeber unterstützen den Besucher dabei auf jede nur erdenkliche Weise.
Lia e Andrea i due proprietari di questo gioiello sono splendidi , un'accoglienza davvero unica! La Casa e' veramente carina, pulita non manca nulla, tutto e' curato con amore ! Io mia moglie e i nostri 2 bimbi siano stati davvero bene. La casa si trova a 5 min dal centro di Lucca a. 5 min dall'uscita dell'autostrada comodissima. Non posso fare altro che consigliarla!!!!!!!
10 days have passed since we left Casa Paradiso and our memories remain unchanged... Lia and Andrea's warm welcome, house location and landscape were the key to spend 5 wonderful days in Tuscany. Next to the places to see: Lucca(5minutes), Pisa(20minutes), Florence(45minutes), Viareggio beach (30minutes), this charming house could not be better located. The house was very clean, nothing was missing..... We all felt like being home and enjoyed everyday the fire place. We would defenetly recommend this place to spend some unforgettable moments. Thisvilla is a gem. Spotlessly clean and comfortable, well equiped kitchen and a nice patio overlooking the countryside of the charming village. The location is superb...easy drive to Pisa and Florence but the really interesting town is Lucca. Our hosts, Lia and Andrea are lovely people and were extremely helpful in suggesting things to do and how best to do them. Lia even arranged a private and fun cooking leson for me with a chef in Lucca. My daughters and I hope to visit Lia and Andrea again soon. David Mahony
