The apartment is situated in the heart of Paris only 5 min walk from the Louvre in a nice neighbourhood, between Rivoli and St.Honoré streets, that are full both of nice shops and restaurants.
The location is perfect for vacations - you're also within easy walking distance of the Notre Dame Cathedral, the Latin Quarter, the Orsay Museum and Pompidou Centre.
Happy to say the apartment has a great location for visiting the centre and allows pit stops from a busy day doing Museum's shopping or just strolling along sight seeing.Its shower was excellent and main bed lovely but second bed needs changing, don't expect views but for the price and position its great.Jerome was great,got the impression if its your first visit he would be great for information etc. The supermarket on the same street is good for basic stuff and with two "Boulangeries" a short walk either way the from the top of the street on Rue St Honour its easy to put together some lovely meals quite cheaply. For a meal out close by the Pizza Wa Wa round the corner is good price/great food, the English waiter was really helpful as well. Heading from Gare Du Nord you can either taxi or Metro line 4 to Chatelet and head to the Rue De Rivoli exit 6 and its a short walk (but with cases a lot of steps) we used Bus 38 and the Les Halles/Pompidu stop, level walk and nicer than the metro.
Die Wohnung liegt wirklich super zentral. Wir waren mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern dort. Es war sauber und der Vermieter Jerome ist wirklich sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Allerdings müssen 2 Personen auf der Couch bzw. Klappbett schlafen, letzteres ist schon sehr durchgelegen. Aber für ein paar Nächste sollte das machbar sein. Schön ist auch der Aufzug im Haus und der in der Strasse liegende Supermarkt. Vom Gare du Nord ist es nur eine Station mit der RER bis zur Station Chatelett Le Halle. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten kann man in kürzester Zeit mit der Metro erreichen. S.Kaufmann
