Secure gated complex with free underground parking space included in cost.Great connections for travel to Central London.10 minute walk along the river to Clipper River Bus which sails to Westminster /15 minutes river walk to Docklands Light Railway and Train. 15 minutes to central London -London Bridge/20 Mins Charing Cross. 2 Mins to bus stops and local supermarket/traditional english pub/restaurant.Swimming sports complex 15 minute river walk or 5 mins on bus.Within the Borough of Greenwich with lots of local attractractions/museums/markets/bars/restaurants.(Greenwich Olympic Borough). Short DLR ride to Europes Newest and Largest Shopping Mall- Westfields.
2 minutes walk to peaceful fishing lakes and open space parks.Great community feel to the area and very safe. No large estates or high rises in the vicinity.

Just as it says on the tin, but better! Secure parking. Welcoming hosts. Spotlessly clean top floor penthouse apartment accessed by the lift (or stairs) with 2 double bedrooms, large sitting room with slim TV and well equipped kitchen, 2 showers and a welcoming bath. Wonderfully panoramic views across the river in every room from the wall to wall sliding windows which give access onto the wide-open balcony where you can sit and enjoy your glass of wine or a beer while turning your BBQ in the warm evening air. At night the city skyline is alight from end to end over the water. In the day you can take in the air along the river side walk. For under £20 from the local Plumstead station, a family of 3 can travel by the smart new train to the city and via the underground throughout the day while visiting all of the famous names that are so close at hand. There is a huge choice of food to be had in China Town after seeing Les Miserables. We plan to go back again now we know where to stay
We have just returned from a three day stay in this well appointed accommodating penthouse. 'We' being two mature northern couples who usually play safe travelling to London by train and staying in hotels - all becoming far too costly - and impersonal. Driving down proved really straightforward - aided by the trusty sat nav - and advice from Maxine who owns the property. With a lovely morning walk to the station (back by cab in the evenings)and short train journey to and from London Riverside Penthouse proved a perfect location. It was also a very special place to return home to with stunning views and every home comfort. Maxine was very welcoming, helping us to make the most of our stay. We loved Woolwich and the people we met there who were helpful and friendly.
