Excellent location, the apartment is conveniently located in Brooklyn, Brighton Beach; many hip restaurants, café, food stores, boutiques, banks and shops within short walking distance.
3 blocks away from the subway, easy access to get into the heart of Manhattan. This location is perfect for tourists!
The apartment is within walking distance to the New York Aquarium, Coney Island Amusement area, beach and boardwalk.
Included: high speed internet (WIFI) , cable TV, and Air Conditioning. There is also a fully equipped kitchen containing a microwave, full size refrigerator, cooking stove, and a coffee maker.
Fresh linens, towels, sheets and blankets are all included.
The appartment was good. If you want to cook for yourself, you have to consider that there is no oven. We had some problems to find dishes we could cook, but we handled it. Dimitry was very kind and friendly. For a fixed rate he picked us up at the airport and also brought us back to it on leaving day. The neighborhood is a little rundown, but safe. We never had any problems. The next subway is a 5-10 minutes walk away and drives you directly to Times Square in 60 minutes. It is also very easy to reach other destinations, normally you just have to change one time. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk away and very nice. Coney Island is just two trainstopps away and also has a vey nice boardwalk. Dimitry offers you plenty of towels and sheets and we also had some water in the fridge when we arrived. There is internet available and free. All in all we would go there again. What you get for the price is a nice and neat appartment.
Excellent apartment at a great price for New York. Only minutes from the beach and direct subway to Manhattan (about 30-45 minutes depending on day/time). The owner is really helpful and flexible with check-in/out times, I'd recommend this apartment to anybody. Clean, comfortable beds, plenty of towels and sheets etc all provided. Only negative I can think of is that the neighbourhood has seen better days but its safe and people are super friendly (it's in Little Russia so nearly everyone is russian as are the shops etc but thats not a bad thing and everything is within walking distance). Free street parking is a bonus.
