Great poolside apartment suitable for couples and families overlooking the surf of Fistral Beach. Our apartment sleeps four (plus baby) in two bedrooms. Bedroom one has a double bed. Bedroom two is has a bunk bed and is well set up for children. The bathroom is clean, white and modern with shower over bath. The kitchen was recently updated with built-in appliances including a washing machine. The living area includes a large corner sofa, LCD TV, plenty of DVDs and dining for four. Patio doors from the living area open on to the large deck which has further dining furniture and BBQ. Our deck is poolside and the pool itself has an entry code to keep children safe. It is available and heated for use May through to September. Linen and bath towels provided. Parking for one car. Peak weeks are a Friday to Friday let.
Our apartment is conveniently situated for a beach holiday in the peaceful Pentire area, with the beautiful Gannel behind and the famous Fistral surf in front. There is a view of Fistral from the apartment and the beach is a few minutes walk away. Or hop in the car to one of the many beaches on this stunning coastline. There are many activities to choose from in the area - learn to surf - the nearest surf school is just below the apartment at The Esplanade Hotel, walk the coastal path or horseride the Gannel, play golf overlooking the sea or choose a water-based activity at the Extreme Sports Academy. Relax in the pool on your doorstep or visit the nearby spa at The Bay Hotel just below. Eat at Jamie Oliver's Fifteen in Watergate Bay. Take the children to zoo and aquarium, boating on the lake or try out the Waterworld fun pool.
We had a lovely week in this great Newquay flat. The flat opened right onto the pool area, and so the swimming pool felt like it was our private pool! And from the pool side, the view was fantastic overlooking the beach. The flat was spotlessly clean and fully equipped for a week-long holiday, and the owner Caroline was really welcoming and helpful. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our holiday, next year we’ll bring two extra friends to the same place. Plus, it would be great for kids. I would highly recommend this delightful holiday apartment to anyone and everyone!
Fine,but not a comfey couch and no power point near a mirror for a hair dryer.It was very clean in side,but out side and garden furniture could do with a spruce up. The owner was a very lovely lady,and very helpful.Also no where to put some food,except fridge which was very small.
Hi Peter I'm sorry you didn't find the couch comfy (we do!) I think too we could do with a new table and chairs outside. They were varnished this year but the elements do get to them, so I hope to find something I like before the new season next year. I take your point about the power point needed and this will be addressed this year when we remodel the double bedroom, which I am very much looking forward to. I'm sorry you didn't find the cupboard and vegetable rack, as well as the fridge, enough room for your weekend stay. Thanks for your input. Best wishes, Caroline
