The stronghold Forte di Tregognano, 500 m above sea level, is in a good panoramic position between the frescos of Casentino and la Valtiberina, where a military post formally stood and has been fully restored using medieval materials retaining the original construction. Ideal starting point for trips into the greenery, for archaelogical and cultural journeys as well as walks in the woods of the grounds.
