In the house: sauna, central heating. 2.5 km long steep, narrow motor access to the house. 4x4 car recommended in winter. Parking (for 2 cars) by the house. Shop 6 km, grocers 6 km, restaurant 2.5 km, bakers 2.5 km, railway station "Appenzell" 6 km, outdoor swimming pool 6 km, indoor swimming pool 6 km. Tennis 6 km, cable car 14 km, mountain lift 24 m, ski lift 14 km, ski runs 14 km.
