Charming typical cottage from the seaside coast of Sintra with a private garden...
Charming property, tastefully decorated and with typical Portuguese architecture trace. The house has 2 bedrooms, the main with double bed and gardens views and the second with 2 single beds. At the entrance we find the dinning area, lounge and the equipped kitchen and a cosy lounge reading corner by the glazed doors opening to the garden. A corridor separates the living area from the 2 bedrooms area. The house has a bathroom with bath and shower and also an outdoor table with 4 seats, lounge chairs and tables. Very peacefull and charming.
Located in the natural park of Sintra Cascais, in the quiet and reknown cottages area of Banzão, right in between the Sintra mountain and the ocean, likewise a number of beaches are within range of Banzão, most notably the Lisbon city-dweller's resorts of Praia da Adraga, Praia Grande and Praia das Maças (both within 4km). Other, least known beaches include São Julião or Magoito further North, but easily reachable within 15 minute driving range. The raea is quiet but has at walking distance several services such as grosseries, banks, ATM machines, gas station, cafeterias and other services (5 minutes walking distance). The famouse Adega cellar where you find the good wine of Colares is at 2 minutes walking distance from the house.
Banzão is also set in the middle of quietness and at same near hot spots: Colares village, Sintra (World Heritage site, 4 km) and several landmarks within the hills which includes the early medieval convent of Capuchos (3 km walking), the Royal Palace of Pena (5 km) or the Blue Lagoon (6 km). Cascais village is at 20 minutes driving and Lisbon at 30m to 40m driving from Banzão.
