A "Floating Amsterdam Home" away from Home. "When you enter this cozy houseboat you immediately feel a great sense of comfort. You cannot just call this an ordinary houseboat. It's a home away from home with utmost hospitality by the family."
This houseboat has been recently renovated and redecorated in 2010. This charming place lets a cozy and colorful double room for honeymooners, couples and businesspeople. It has all modern facilities like internet access, DVD and cable TV, includes comfortable double bed, full bath in a glass mosaic decorated bathroom, special touches like flowers, quality fruit, breakfast amenities, piano & guitar and a personal welcoming atmosphere.
What's more, this houseboat has a LOUNGE OUTSIDE: a beautiful and spacious floating 20m2 terrace by plants and reed surrounded and decorated with charming garden furniture. You can either lounge outside and relax or sit outside for an enjoyable meal overlooking the canal (see pictures).
This hospitable houseboat lies central in a quiet and peaceful residential area of Amsterdam. It is at 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from all major attractions (like Dam, Rijksmuseum, van Gogh, Anne Frankhuis etc.), has shops and open air market around the corner and there are direct trams to Central Station (15 minutes).

My mum my sister and I have just returned from a three night trip to Amsterdam and had such a terrific time on the boat. The attention to detail was fantastic and the boat had everything we could possibly need. The terrace was just lovely. The host was very friendly - he sat with us for 30mins upon our arrival showing us how everything worked and gave us lots of great tips about the city as well as leaving the kitchen nicely stocked for breakfast and snacks. This boat is not cheap but I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for. I would not hesitate to recommend this boat to anyone. It is a good 20-25 min walk from Dam Square.

tres belle peniche,mais tarif surtaxé pour 2 nuits et "mise a la porte "a 11 heure,malgre une arrivee tardive.tres peu commercial,de plus la bouteille de gaz n avait pas été verifiée et plus de chauffage;reputation peut etre un peu usurpée et tarif a l avenant.

Great location, just a short walk to the city and parks. Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast and coffee machine. The house is just a great relaxing place to hang out looking over the water. It made the weekend. I strongly recommend to anyone heading to Amsterdam. Thanks for the great weekend.
