APARTMENT & BUILDING INFORMATION
This charming & high standing 69 square meters 1 Bedroom apartment is ideally located at the 5th floor (out of 7 floors) of a luxurious building in Rue de Chaillot (16th arrondissement).
It sleeps up to 4 people.
The 20th century building is equipped with : elevator, intercom, a main lobby (like in luxurious hotels) with guardians & concierges 24/7, always available for most your requests & to assist you.
There are 2 freshly renovated and beautiful elevators leading to the 5th floor & 2 exits (“Rez de Chaussee” & “Rez de Jardin” that is a direct exit)
There is a building maintenance and cleaning everyday by a special team dedicated to that.
The building has a large & nice garden.
This apartment is spacious and well equipped. Its 2 terraces will make you enjoy a lovely Eiffel tower view in addition to a Rue de Chaillot view, one of the most outstanding in the neighborhood.
In this residential building located in a very pleasant area, you will become a real 'Parisian'.
LOCATION
This apartment is ideally located in rue de Chaillot in the 16th arrondissement (district), only a 100 meters walking from the 8th arrondissement (district). It is a few minutes walking to Champs Elysees and the famous Avenue Marceau which leads to the Arc de Triomphe (at the top of the Champs Elysees). It is close to the well known Place du Trocadero from which esplanade is the most beautiful view of the Eiffel Tower and Champ de Mars.
Close to the apartment you will be able to visit the famous “Palais de Tokyo”. It is also next to the “Pont de l’Alma”.
The building is located in a chic district in the "triange d'or" ("golden triangle") : Alma-Marceau is a historic district that has become the place to be seen for stars and young, trendy Parisians. A chic, trendy district in the heart of Paris Halfway between the Champs-Élysées and the Eiffel Tower, Alma-Marceau is now among Paris's most exclusive districts.
Stars and businesspeople can be found sipping a coffee or enjoying an after-work drink. Avenue Montaigne is lined with many of the capital's luxury and haute couture boutiques: Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Nina Ricci, Chanel, and more. Together with Avenue des Champs-Élysées and Avenue George V, Alma Marceau is part of Paris's "triange d'or" ("golden triangle"). You will find mainly high-end stores, banks, embassies and luxury hotels such as the 5 star Plaza Athénée. Stars meet up at the Café des Théâtres on Avenue Montaigne, while bohemian types favor Bert's, a contemporary café on Avenue du Président Wilson.
Very close to the apartment, visitors can't resist a visit to the famous Crazy Horse Saloon, a well-known erotic cabaret copied the world over. An emphasis on history and art The Pont de l'Alma, built by Napoleon III in 1856, leads to the left bank of the Seine.
The famous Alma tunnel, where Princess Diana met her untimely end in 1997, also runs through the district. On Place de l'Alma, the Flame of Liberty, a gift from the United States to France in 1989, has become a place where people come to pay their respects to the late princess.
Despite its age, Alma-Marceau is a happening district where some of Paris's major museums can be found, including the Palais de Tokyo (modern and contemporary art) and the Musée du Quai Branly (African, Asian, Oceanic, and Native American art). On the left bank of the Seine, near the Pont de l'Alma, the Musée des Egouts Parisiens (Paris Sewer Museum) offers a less glamorous but equally extraordinary visit!
An exclusive residential building In the heart of the district, Alma-Marceau Metro station is served by line 9. , served by line 1, and Pont de l'Alma station, through which the RER C runs, can also be found on the edge of the district.

In the neighboring streets all sorts of services are found : French Bakery, Butchery, Supermarket, Open air market, Theater, Restaurants (with all sorts of cuisines and budgets including Chinese, French, Italian, Lebanese...), French Cafés, Doctors and private hospital, Drugstore, post office, various stores, theatre (e.g. Chaillot theater), Museums ( e.g. Guimet Museum), Lavatory with washing machines & dryers (only 30 seconds walking from the building - 10 machines and 4 dryers - someone to look after your clothes & belongings) ...
You will benefit from a calm neighborhood. In the same time, you will be only a few minutes away from entertained places (Champs Elysees, Alma Marceau, Trocadéro ...). The neighbors & guardians are well-educated, well-mannered & very helpful. There are always happy to assist.

BEDROOM
The 13 square meters bedroom has a window facing street and leading to the terrace . It is equipped with: double bed (1.40m), 2 bedside tables, hard wood floor, a large library with books (…)
BATHROOM & SEPARATED TOILETS
The 6 square meters bathroom is equipped with: washbasin, bathtub with showerhead, tiled floor, bidet ... There is also one separated toilet in the apartment. The floor is made in quality marble.

USEFUL INFORMATION

There is 1 empty trash per floor.
There will be no parking spot offered with your rental. However, it is possible to obtain (for free) car spots in the parking of the building. You should directly refer to the concierges/guardians who will let you know all the availabilities in the building & who will probably suggest you to park your car for free. But there is no guarantee. There are also parkings very closeby.
In addition, it is free to park in front of the building after 7.00 pm and at any time during the week-ends.
There is a central heater, individual electric adjustable heaters & 1 oil heater in the bedroom.
The apartment includes storing large cupboards/closets.
The windows have a double glazing. Then you will be able to sleep very well in a quiet and peace environment.
The decoration might have changed somehow since the pictures have been taken (updated in January 2012).
The apartment & building keys will be provided on your arrival day. Please carefully take care of them as any loss or damage will cost up to 150 euros.
ADDITIONAL FEES & RATES
Cleaning fee may apply (50 euros). This will be discussed with the owner.
Other fees : there should be no additional charges/fees. The amount paid initially is all inclusive, except for long stays.
Late check-in & early check-out are allowed for FREE upon request and when possible. Guardians are available 24h/7 & are very flexible about that.
Please note that the rates agreed with Housetrip are discounted rates : about 32 % discount compared to the initial rates offered on the other websites.
GUARDIANS :
There is a main lobby in the building with guardians available 24h/7. There are very helpful and will be happy to assist you for most of your requests (taxis, repair, keys, recommendations on where to go, what to buy...).
Along with cameras, they are there in order to take care of the security and protection of your family. There will also be there to open the building door for you everytime you arrive.

Due to repeated thefts, towels/sheets/linens/pillowcase will unfortunately not be provided anymore.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused and kindly ask you to come up with yours in addition to soaps & toilet paper that might be available in the apartment but that you can also purchase in one of the supermarkets nearby (same street).
Some ( 4 to 8) duvets, coverbeds & pillows are available in the apartment but there is no guarantee whether they will meet your expectations.
BOOKING
Following your booking, you will receive a welcome email & a "Tenant Guide" that will give you detailed information about the apartment, the building, the amenities around, transportation, Paris (...). There will be also information about the deposit. The owner will be happy to assist, answer your requests & questions under 24h.
Additional fees, if applicable, must be arranged directly with the Host after booking. Only accommodation fees are payable when booking through the HouseTrip platform.

Bortolotto Position excellent, édifice de luxe, 2 lift. Apertement spacieuse, mais.. le équipement c'était, a mon avis, excessivement essentiel. L'entretien c'était insuffisant, beaucoup des choses était sales: les couvertures, une corbeille remplie de linge sale etc.. Dans la cuisine le maximum du désordre y de négligence.
