This unusual farmhouse property in the West London / Surrey border offers guests the chance to enjoy staying in a rural retreat while still making the most of all London has to offer.• It is close to fascinating royal palaces; Hampton Court Palace and Windsor Castle.• The lovely Richmond riverside and world-renowned Kew Gardens are also accessible from this lovely house and the centre of the capital can be reached in less than half an hour via the fast overland train links.

We spent two weeks at the Strawberry Cottage and we were very comfortable as a family of 4. Staff was helpful and friendly. The bedrooms were comfy and there was a lot of space. It was easy to access help as the owners lived downstairs. The cottage was nice and had all the facilities needed for our stay. Well equipped kitchen and bathroom. A lot of tourist information and maps were provided. This place is highly recommended for any family or tourist visiting London.
The cottage (top floor of house with no available garden to use) is clean and nice and has a bus stop literally at the front gate. What wasn't mentioned in the description was that it's on a busy street and right in the final landing pattern for Heathrow with planes landing every 90 seconds from 5:00 AM until Midnight. It's a ten minute walk to the nearest train station for the 35 minute train ride to Waterloo station.
Das "Strawberry Cottage" ist ein sehr gemütliches und warmherziges Apartment. Wer ein typisches englisches Cottage kennenlernen möchte, ist hier genau richtig. Es ist sehr gemütlich und komfortabel eingerichtet. Es ist sehr nah, am Flughafen/Heathrow gelegen und sehr gut mit U-Bahn und Bus zu erreichen. Beim nächsten " London-Besuch", jederzeit wieder gerne!!!!
