Netherlands and Amsterdam are well known, among other things, its dikes and polders, we live in a house built on a dam, which once served to isolate the water and go drying to convert the sea on dry land. These homes have two different levels abroad. Our B&B is located in the basement of our house, and has a garden, for our guests only, 60 square meters.
Our Bed & Breakfast is located in quiet and picturesque residential area, in the north part of Amsterdam. The house is facing the Noorderpark and is constructed in 1934. The studio is romantically decorated in art deco style, with eye for detail. In our B&B you are completely independent and autonomous. You have your own entrance to the B&B which is equipped with a small kitchen, a luxurious private bathroom and a large private garden. The double bed (160 x 200 cm) and the dressing table are from 1931. There is a plasma TV and wireless internet in the studio, a baby cot and extra bed (90 x 200 cm) are also available, under the double bed. In front of the house, you can park your car for free!!!! which is unique in Amsterdam! Pets are very welcome! Opposite the house is a park, and a forest ‘Vliegenbos’ is on a 2 minutes walk. Amsterdam Central Train Station is 15 minutes travel by bus or bike/ferry.
Front the house there is a park the 'North Park. " It is a quiet and picturesque neighborhood.

Excellent séjour dans ce studio idéalement situé, au calme dans une rue tranquille avec un parking gratuit. Mais cependant à 1/4 d'heure à pied de l’embarcadère où un bateau navette vous emmène à la gare centrale, en plein cœur d'Amsterdam en 2 minutes!! Une boulangerie à 50 m une grande surface à 10 minutes des restaurants à proximité...l'idéal quoi! L'accueil des propriétaires super sympa! Studio à recommander.
Whilst the property was clean and tastefully decorated, the host Ana was unfortunately not in Amsterdam the weekend we were there. My partner and I never need too much attention, but being let into the apartment by her son, who only really gave us information about how to switch the TV on and the direction to walk into town, was not really going the extra mile. Tea and coffee were provided, but we felt a lack of washing-up liquid and an empty hand soap dispenser was careless. The garden space is nice, but could be so much better if tidied up slightly and not so overlooked. The apartment is easy to reach from the central station by bus, although push bike would possibly be easier (including bikes in the flat rental may be a good idea for future guests).
Host response Hello Ben, Thanks for your comment and feedback, I'll take good account of it. On the bike you're right, I had already been looking for a bike, but I have not decided yet, as the winter has been so long and hard, I had missed that issue and fix the garden, now it seems that the spring is coming we will paint and fix everything in the garden. Sorry for the lack of soap and detergent to clean. Normally when I go on holidays, I often noes, I have another person who cleans and runs the studio, but that person got sick and my son Paul had to replace suddenly. Paul is very introverted and at his age even more. Nobody is perfect. Paul forgot to see if something was missing or something had been done. I have to be grateful to Pablo, because at least when I had a problem, he was to receive you in a time of need. I am sorry not being myself to greet you and help you if needed. Saludos Ana
