Örücü Palace apartments are run by a Turkish-German family. All of our apartments are selected carefully for their unique qualities. During the renovation of the apartments we employ local crafts-people who show sensitivity to the restoration skills that are needed for these unique buildings.

Centrally located 3 minutes walk to historic Galata tower in quiet side street full of galleries, boutique/cafes, sarkuteris and convenience stores,,,, ideal location for easy access on foot to Istiklal Street, Tunel, Taksim and located in alternative / artistic area off the beaten tourist track - quiet residential building, comfortable / spacious / modern self contained studio...sleeps 4 adults+child, all our aparts include A/C, washing machine / clothes airer / iron / ironing board / microwave / optional 4 burner stove / kettle / toaster / en suite bathroom and new extremely comfortable beds-silk sheets / flat screen TV / cable / DSL etc etc...
All furnitures are new and you will be one of the first user.
Additional fees, if applicable, must be arranged directly with the Host after booking. Only accommodation fees are payable when booking through the HouseTrip platform.
l'appartement très bien situé dans un quartier populaire très calme à 10 min à pied du tramway et de la rue Istikal. Il est correctement équipé, un peu sombre. Mais nous y avons passé 4 nuits à 5 sans problème.L'accueil est exceptionnel, Mehmet nous a donné d'excellents conseils et s'est montré très disponible. Nous recommandons de prendre le service de taxi qu'il propose ( très efficace). Très agréble séjour dans de bonnes conditions.
orucu apartments zijn een paar jaar geleden met liefde gemaakt door een meubelfabriek om te bouwen. vandaar de wat typische smalle bouw. Mehmet zorgt met zijn gulle lach en spontaniteit voor een warm welkom Je krijgt hier een authentieker Turks gevoel dan in welk hotel dan ook door de details die nooit zouden kunnen in een hotel. Misschien lijkt het te knus op de foto's, maar dat is het ook weer niet. Ik verbleef op bovenste verdieping na een upgrade.Ik zat graag op mijn houten balkonnetje en hoorde de geluiden van gezinnen die in de huizen eromheen woonden. Auto's heb ik niet horen rijden, want het ligt in een rustige, maar veilig deel van een volkswijk met minimarkets, koffiehuizen, kapper, bakker etc. op 4 minuten van Isteklal straat, 3 minuten van Galata toren en 5 min van de Galata brug. De plek uit de drukte maar met alles op loopafstand die je in deze stad nodig hebt.
We had a wonderful stay in this apartment, highly recommended for anyone that does not like to spend their holidays in a hotel room (like we do). It is a 5 minute walk to Istiklal street,the metro station (Sishane) and also very close to the tram station (Tophane) going to the old city.A very neat apartment with every amenity that you will need. The owner, Mehmet was extremely helpful and friendly. We will definitely go back and also recommend it to anyone planning a visit to Istanbul. Jeff & Elize (South Africa)
My husband and 19 month old enjoyed the apartment very much. It was pristine! The location is very interesting as it offers a slice of real life off the main tourist street of Istikal Caddessi (though less than a 5 minute walk to the it). If you have children, there are two playgrounds very close by (one less than 200 meters). The owner was incredibly responsive to all questions and very accommodating in assisting with arranging airport transfers, etc. I believe everyone would enjoy there time there.
