The flat is on the third floor. There is satellite tv, internet, fully equipped kitchen with oven, electric stove, fridge, iron, vacuum cleaner, hair dryer, dvd player. The bedsheets and the towels are included as well as all the utilities.
In the living room, there is a double bed for 2 people and a sofa bed.
In the second room, there is a French sofa bed.
In the dining room, there is a big table for 4 people. There is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.
The buliding is situated in the old centre of Pera with its art galleries and small traditional bars and restaurants. The flat is in Sadri alışık Sk just one minute from Istiklal Street, the main shopping and pedestrian avenue of Istanbul, and 150 meters from Taksim Square, and close to the old European embassies: the Palais de France, the Palazzo di Venezia, the old Dutch and Russian Embassies and the Greek Consulate.
There is a Metro stop about 100 meters from the house leading very fast to Sultanahmet (the area with Aya Sofya, the Blue Mosque and the Grand Bazaar).
Location is very good - close to Istiklal Street with all the shops and restaurants but nevertheless it's really quiet. We had a good time with our little son (2.5 years). The flat was clean and had everything we needed (TV, WiFi, fridge...). Nico is very friendly and he was almost the only one around who could speak English...
its a very ideal and safe location to stay in istanbul, just off the most happening n lively istiklal street n taksim square. place is very cozy n comfy. does not have a elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up 2 floors can be tough.Hosts nico n ahmet are very kind and helpful. i will definately stay here when i visit the city the next time around.
