Why do we browse on HOUSE TRIP? Because we are looking for a real and safe home to stay at a resonable price. This lovely spacious one bed flat located in Carshalton in a private estate, 10 miles from Central London, in south London awaits your arrival at your convienient time. Carshalton is a clean, green, suburb in Surrey with easy access of public transport., close to Croydon where you find all shops (Whift gift shopping centre) Bars, Night Club etc... and is just 15 minutes from the flat, close to Sutton which is one train stop from the flat where you find a big shopping centre,(St Nicholas shopping centre) Bars Nigtht club etc..., close to Wimbledon, Kingston, Clapham Junction, London Victoria and Streatham, which both have a variety of bars and restaurants etc.On Carshalton hight street you have all the banks, pubs, local Sainsbury and other shops. Carshalton get busy during daytime. Spending nights in Carshalton is just like living a dream of most of the famous UK artist who lives in Surrey such as Peter Andre, Kerry Katona, Katie Price, Ashley Cole, Andy Murray etc.
VIP guest who has spend nights in this property, in Carshalton are Daniel Christopher Harlock, a Australian Actor, UN diplomat Olara Otunu.Their biography can also be found on the internet.
They get a busy day in the city and run back for a quiet relaxing peaceful evening at home . Early mornings or evenings, they go jogging in the park to start a fresh day full of energy or to close the day full of energy. The park is just 10 minutes walk from the flat.The trains are frequent and very reliable. The flat is 10 minutes walk from the train station, which take you straight to Clapham Junction of a 15 minutes journey and to London Victoria of a 20 minutes journey which is walking distance to London attractions, like Big ben, Westminister Abbey, London eye, Buckingham palace, Madame Tussaud etc....
You also have a direct train from Carshalton to London st Pancras international to connect with Eurostar international which is a 40 minutes journey. A train from Clapham junction which is direct to London gatwick airport of a 30 minutes journey.
There is a bus X26 which brings you straight to Carshalton and takes you straight to London heathrow airport just at a cost of £2.50 for a single journey.This lovely spacious ground floor flat has a large living room, kitchen, bathroom and separate toilet.The living room has cable flat screen TV, home cinema, DVD player a comfortable sofa and It is fully furnished and equiped with kitchen, micro-wave, American fridge, washing machine and major supermarkets are very close by. Fresh towels, linen and wifi are available.
Self service breakfast include the following items: Tea/coffee,cappuccino, juice, egg, croissant, bread.
The area has a health fitness club with a swimming pool sauna gym and only 5 minutes walk from the house.
Also 10 mins away is Carshalton station which is a 20 min journey to London bridge. The flat is also 15 minutes journey to Wimbledon tennis court, 30 minutes to kingston where you can explore a walk on the river Thames, lots of shops, bars, restaurant.You are also 15 minutes from the Epsom Downs Racecourse where you can experience the world-class race. I am a non-smoker and the flat is only available for rent to non-smokers, no pets please.

The Diamond Jubilee Concert 2-5 June 2011:
A concert organised by the BBC will be held at Buckingham Palace on Monday 4 June. It will be attended by The Queen, The Duke of Edinburgh and other Members of the Royal Family. A national ballot has been launched and 10,000 members of the public will be selected to receive free tickets. The closing date for the ballot is 2 March. LONDON 2012 Olympic games!!
It is easy from Carshalton.
Change from London Victoria straight to Stratfford or Change from London Bridge straight to Stratfford. You are already in the Olympic games in 45 minutes!!
Note that the itinerary recommended for Olympic games allows time for travel between the railway station and venue, as well as additional queuing time to get into the venue and for airport style security checks.

It was a nice place but very very far from Central London. Advise,in future you state exactly where it is. It is certainly not near central London at all. Meanwhile, we seek 5 such apartment in London for August 2013. Can you source it? Give exact description etc. Thanks anyway as you came in at the last minute. Teresa

Ross was a great guest and very appreciating. I went to pick up Ross in Carshalton train station but I could not find him. I drove back to the flat and 5 minutes after, the door bell rang and it was Ross. We missed each other from the train station and I could not get hold of him as his phone was switch off. Ross was a very tidy guest, the flat was left clean. I would recommend Ross to any one wanting to rent their flat out. Thank you very much Ross and hope to see you in the near future!!!!!! Caroline
Host response Teresa was let down on her previous booking and I was contacted by Housetrip at the last minute. I did everything possible to accommodates her guest who was coming from Nigeria and I had to arrange things at last minute. I do not believe that the appartement is very very far from central London. Only twenty minutes by train to London Victoria which you are in the hurt of the city. Many guest has stayed here and has never complain of the distance. I am also on other website and I have never had such a review , like the one of Teresa. Teresa lives in London and when you were booking, you knew the location very well. Thank you.
