The flat is charming, and if you finally can make it to come, you’ll love it for sure!!
It is located in the heart of “el Borne” (Portal Nou St. nº48), the most exclusive part of Gothic Neighbourhood.
Only 2min walking to “Las Ramblas”, Cathedral, City Hall, Picasso Museum, Palau de la Musica, Plaza Catalunya, Arc del Triumph, etc.
2 Metro station are only 2min walking away (“Jaume I”, yellow line, and “Arc de Triumf” red line), from where you can reach any other hot spot in town (Sagrada Familia, Parc Guell, Forum, FIRA, Sants Station, etc).
Train station “Estación de Francia” is 3 minutes walking away. Direct train to Airport available from there.
Bus station “Estación del Nord” (for people coming from Girona Airport) is 4 min walking away.
Also the beach is quite close, you can reach “Barceloneta” within just 5 minutes walking. This is the most famous beach in town.
The apartment is very nice; it was fully renovated three years ago. Large enough to hold comfortably up to 4 persons (60m² aprox). It has a nice big bathroom, big kitchen, parquet, new aluminium double glass windows, heating system and a small “patio” (terrace) where the washer is installed.
Exterior, with a cute balcony facing a nice and relaxed street (semi public, only neighbours allowed to transit).
It is fully equipped (TV, DVD, washer, microwave, coffee machine, oven, any other cooking elements, etc.)
The building is a typical old one, in good condition.
A parking space for your car can be arranged nearby (additional 10-15eu per day).
Additional fees, if applicable, must be arranged directly with the Host after booking. Only accommodation fees are payable when booking through the HouseTrip platform.
We were VERY disappointed with this apartment. The pictures were taken 3 years ago according to the person who checked us in. So don't be surprised because it looks nothing like what you see here. The lovely glass door is broken and held together with tape. No towels are provided, we had to ask; no dish soap (all dishes were very dirty and greasy). The location was ok, but the neighborhood not so good. The metro is more like a 10 minute walk. The TV did not work (they did offer to have someone try to fix it, but we were fed up by then), only one chair on the balcony which was broken and the washing machine too dirty to use. So very disappointing; we booked 5 different apartments through Housetrip on this particular trip, this was the only one that was poor. We are giving this a one star rating only because you cannot post your review without it - it should receive no stars. Sorry.
Hi, wir waren sehr gerne dort in der kleinen Altstadtstrasse am Arc de Triomf! Das Appartment ist praktisch und Alles funktioniert. Die Schlüsselübergabe war in Ordnung. Das Doppelbett war sehr schön bequem! Leider stimmt die Einrichtung nicht mit den Fotos überein. Alles ist viel einfacher und enger, weniger luxoriös, keine getrennten Räume. Aber okay - wir waren viel unterwegs und da war es ein guter Ausgangspunkt. Herzliche Grüße Cordula
nous avons passé un tres agréable séjour ! l'appart n'etait malheureusement pas à hauteur des photos presentées ! il est par contre idéalement placé 15 min à pied de la mer, des grands monuments, des ramblas et station de metro à 2min ! Le quartier où il est placé est sympathique et vivant mais pas trop pour ce qui veulent se coucher apres un verre c'est l'idéal .
The apt. was great, Felipe was very nice and helpfull, the location is in the hub of the city. We had a great stay, remember to ask how the hot water heater works, my husband figured it out, but if you don't the shower is cold. Thanks for a great place.

Host response hey guys, this flat rates 4* among the clients, 99% of them very happy, how can you be so disappointed?!! 1º, the metro station is 150 meters away (check the map) may be u got lost if it took u 10 minutes to get there... The tv works normally. Neighborhood is the most touristic in town (typical old town) And.. well.. The soap x cleaning, sorry we dont provide.
