Beautiful Seaside Apartment in an idyllic location. This property is the perfect base for both city & countryside touring. Its location is suitable for both relaxation & adventure, there are numerous leisure activities in the area.
The apartment sleeps 6 people comfortably. First bedroom has a double bed. The second bedroom can be either a double or 2 singles (please state which you would prefer when booking) and the sofa converts to a kind-size bed.
We also have another apartment that we are renovating at the moment it will be ready by the end of May 2013. This apartment will also have 2 bedrooms and will sleep 6. Both bedrooms have sea views. If our other apartment is booked or you would like to book our new apartment it will be on housetrip very soon so please keep checking.
It takes 30 minutes by train or car to Dublin city centre, 20 minutes to Dublin Airport and a 10 minutes walk to the local village.
Rush was a small fishing village & is now a bustling seaside town. It has two beaches one of which the property is located on. This beach has lovely golden sand and is safe to swim in. At one end are cliffs with a Martello Tower & the other end is the harbour & local village. The village has much to offer in eating & drinking. There is also a local theatre, sailing & golf club
Dublin city centre with all its attractions is only a short train or car journey away.
We are also only 30 minutes to the famous Newgrange heritage site and the Hill of Tara
As we are on the east coast of Ireland the weather is mainly dry and mild.

A nice place to stay. The hosts were very nice and very accommodating. It was easy to communicate with them and they were great in answering our questions. The apartment is very cute and we made use of the kitchen and washer. The bed was not the most comfortable (though I've definitely slept in worse and being 5 months pregnant might have something to do with it), the internet was a tad slow but always worked, and the shower pressure was a little low, but we would stay here again. The view is beautiful and the walk on the beach was great! It took us into town where we had an excellent dinner at the Harbour Bar.
Very nice apartment just outside of dublin. nice quiet location. seafront. We was there with six people. it was clean and had everything we needed. a supermarket and a bus stop was 15 minutes away. We usually called a taxi for 6 people to go to dublin. that was the fastest. Many thanks again to Jay and Mary. It was a great weekend in the apartment. They are very nice and we were pleased to have met them. I hope we see them again.
Our family, myself, husband, and two older daughters stayed at this wonderful apartment 21Nov thru 23Nov. 2012. We lost a day due to awful flight service from United Airlines, but staying here was great and made us feel at home. Everything you need is right here, easy access to city of Rush. If traveling to Ireland, please consider this apartment. Mary is a wonderful host and will help with anything you need.
We really had an excellent stay in this beautiful apartment along the sea. The apartment was well equiped with brand new furnitures and we received a very warm welcome from the landlords. Thank you very much to Mary & Jay for everything you did to make us having a great time there. The location was also perfect to visit Dublin (30 min by car) and the countryside and we also really appreciated this charming little town with nice shops and pubs...
