We are centrally located on the island with an apartment house that has a gorgeous view of the Meditteranean Sea and Dia Island . Nice deck looking out into the view and also small front yard with outdoor furniture and wood burning oven . The house has a heat/ac unit as well as an energy fireplace for those chilly nights . Great neighborhood with lots of parking and very convenient to the city center of Heraklion , beaches and airport . If you like , we can also reserve for you a rental car or motorbike , just let us know :) We will take care of your airport or boat transfers when you stay with us too! There is also a city bus that comes in front of the house twice a day , Monday thru Friday .
You will have ample supply of our very own olive oil for your cooking , a welcome bottle of our red wine and olive oil soap for your showers! We also provide a delicious Cretan appetizer plate when you arrive and a continental breakfast . For your convenience , there is a small neighborhood family-run store for your initial shopping within walking distance too. Non-smokers only , please :)
We are just minutes from the ancient Minoan Palace of Knossos which is definitely a must see ! There are over 6,000 villages on the island and each unique in their own special way for you to explore . There is also a wonderful winery nearby to visit and tour called Boutari Winery that is just 4 kilometers from the house . There you will be able to taste , experience and buy some of our local wines to take back home with you too ! There is also a beautiful canyon called the Karteros Canyon just down the hill from the chalet where you can hike through all it's nature . We will be very happy to assist you with any of your excursions while you are here on Crete .
l'accueil était chaleureux: nous avons été attendus à l'aéroport,ensuite, lors de notre arrivée tardive, un en-cas était prévu.Les propriétaires particulièrement attentionnés nous faisant connaître les bonnes adresses d'Héraklion, les lieux à visiter,nous faisant déguster des produits du terroir. La maison était spacieuse,lumineuse, et la vue panoramique.Un séjour très réussi ! Marie-Claire Belgique
I have just returned from an 8 week stay at this lovely house with a fantastic view. A very warm welcome from Emmanuel and Pamela. Everything you need for you're holiday is supplied. Nothing was too much trouble for Pam or Emmanuel and I have a lot to thank them for. I had a fantastc time and I am already looking for flights etc for a return visit early next year. Fantastic couple. Prasas is a lovely little village with very friendly locals, especially in the local shop.
This is a gem. The house was ideal for us, it had everything we needed for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The view is truly spectacular and the sunsets fromm the balcony / patio were wonderful. Fantastic walks and places to visit. Pam and Emmanuel could not have been kinder or more helpful. We shall go back.
Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans cette maison agréable et fonctionnelle.La vue est magnifique et il y régne un calme relaxant. Emmanuel et Pamela sont des personnes très acceuillantes, présentes et disponibles. Nous avons pu compter sur eux tout au long de notre séjour, et je regrette mes discussions avec Pamela.... Il y a beaucoup de choses à voir ou à visiter en crète, ainsi que de très belles promenades à faire!!! Quand vous êtes très bien reçu, celà ajoute encore plus de charme et de convivialité à votre voyage... La mer, le sable, les lieux, les paysages,...et les gens... de très belles rencontres qui font parties de nos beaux souvenirs!!! Nous avons le projet de retourner les voirs avec les enfants... les enfants ce coup-ci...
