All renovated in 2010 apartment and building dated back from sec XVIII. Located in the historic center of Lisbon city called BAIXA-CHIADO. This top floor determines a contrast from modern and minimalist approach to the old character of the historic architecture.
An assortment of simple furniture and Lisbon photos dynamist the calming atmosphere of this lighted space.
Duplex with 2 sleeping rooms, 2 bathrooms, an escape space and a common living and dining area. In the first floor stays the social and kitchen area (integrated in dining and living room), a sleeping room with a double bed and a bathroom with all commodities including a bathtub. In the living room theres a sofa bed. In the middle stairs there’s an escape room with low ceiling becoming a very sympathy space for young children. On the second floor we have another sleeping room with 2 single beds and a bathroom.
Equipped with all the needs for a very comfortable short and long term stay.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE BOOKING THIS PROPERTY.NOT RECOMMEND!!! This is a 4 story walk-up, the hallway and stairways does not have any working lighting.It was a good thing we had a flashlight bc that came in handy going up and down the stairs.After a entire day of sightseeing it was exhausting walking up 6 flights of stairs even thou it is on the 4th floor.The WIFI & Television was not working during our entire stay. There was no way for us to get in contact with the owner of the property since we had no wifi.There is no air conditioner in the unit which was okay for mid-sept but we still had to open the windows, the odor coming from the outside window reek of urine.The smell got worst later in the evening and worst upstairs. We were 3 females traveling & did not feel safe walking back to the property in the evening.The walls in the unit are quite thin and you can hear everything going on in your apt & your neighbors apt.It also gets quite noisy on Friday & Saturday nite.
Host response I am very sad because i wasn´t able to transform your Lisbon staying in a very positive experience. And I don´t understand why you didn´t call me when you made notice that either TV or Wifi or lighting in stairs weren´t working. Probably it was possible to solve that problems during your stay. we talked by phone the day you arrived, so you had my number, and it is inside the apartment disponible for any need that you may have during the stay. In fact the internet and tv services were down, but they are now on from more than a week ago. It was a momentaneous problem in the service supliers. Fact that i can't control, unfortunatly. The apartment hasn't got air conditioning. its a fact and its written in the flat presentation. The weather here in Lisbon isn't so dramatic that we have to use air conditioning all year long. Its not a green choice for the ambient. But climate is changing and maybe we have to change our assumptions to confort conditions. 4th floor without lift is a fact. Its written in the flat presentation also. neverless the stairs are confortable and easy to climb. Never heard that the road is unsafe. Is a street with a lot of movement, although we are in the historic center and the lighting can sometimes be a bit insufficient. This area of the city is being renovated so hopefully changing for the better. And that feeling of insecurity disappears. Smell of urine coming from the street. I find it a little bit strange, but I admit that the atmospheric pressure without wind can sometimes bring some odor from the river Tagus...Like in Venice. We are very close to the river. Unfortunatly Lisbon city is a noisy city, and this area is very central and sometimes busy area. If you are hard to sleep maybe this location isn´t the marvelous location. neverless i want to find a solution for the street noise in the apartment! You must came another time to Lisbon...
