Haus Sonnenwende is just outside the village of Bödefeld. The village is picturesque, half-timbered and typical of Sauerland. It is 17 km west of the City of Winterberg. Bödefeld is part of the Walkers World around Schmallenberg. Tens of kilometres of well marked walking routes meander through the hilly, wooded landscape. Walking is the perfect way to enjoy the great natural beauty of the area. The swimming pool is only 200 metres from the holiday home. You can enjoy riding and mini-golf in Bödefeld. The famous Hennesee (lake) is 8 km from the home. It is the perfect place to cool down and relax on a hot summers day. You can also enjoy plenty of water sports there.
Haus Sonnenwende has grounds of 1800 m2. The grounds enjoy uninterrupted views of the nearby woods. The two well kept holiday homes are on the ground floor of the house. They were renovated in 2008 and are equipped with all modern conveniences. Both holiday homes have satellite flat screen TV, a home-cinema set, free wireless internet connection and an attractive open fireplace. There is direct access to the terrace with garden furniture. The very large garden is quiet and peaceful. It has a fine lawn with seating and barbecue areas.
