This beautiful apartment is just 15 minutes from the airport, in the quiet and beautiful Costa del Silencio. Here we enjoy more sunny days than anywhere in the island, with a daytime-only slight breeze almost always present, making it less hot during the daytime but wonderfully warm at night. The beautiful complex is ideal for families and those who want a quiet base to explore the island and its many wonders (among them the Unesco Heritage city of La Laguna, the best and most visited zoo in Spain (Loro Parque) or the Biosphere Reserve of El Teide, Spanish highest mountain).
The apartment sleeps up to 6 adults (there is a double bedroom, a twin one and a sofa-bed). Baby cot is available upon request (no extra cost). The apartment is bright and spacious, fully equipped and well insulated (not too warm in the summer, not cold in winter since it is never cold in here). It also has a beautiful 215 sq feet terrace facing the south-west, where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets and have sun almost all day long. There are bars, restaurants and shops in the commercial centre at the complex. You will not see or hear it from your apartment though. The complex swimming pool is excellent and has a large solarium area.
There is a TV and we can provide you with a VCR or DVD player if you need one. There is easy off road parking in front of the apartment (parking is not always easy in Tenerife). We have many extras that you might need at no extra cost. Not in vain we have been renting apartments for over 15 years already, so almost anything you might ask we have dealt with before.
Note about the internet connection. It is only wireless, and reception is usually ok in the terrace and living room with a computer. Mobile phones should also catch it, but it depends on the quality of their antennas. In the swimming pool area or at our office reception is perfect in any case, so more than welcome to also use it here. If needed, you can use our printer also in the office.
If you stay for over a week, we include in the price a weekly cleaning of the apartment and linen+towels change.
If the apartment is not booked, we will let you stay until you need go to the airport. If you have a late flight, we will arrange it for you to leave your luggage. We are Spanish and are flexible enough for anything you might need.
A rock beach and a nude beach are nearby. For sand beaches you need to walk to the close Las Galletas or take the car to Los Cristianos/Las Americas or El Médano (both at about 15 minutes distance). Ask for advice on which are the best beaches on the island. We can also advice you on what to do, see, etc. and where to eat. Restaurants in Tenerife are extremely varied, so it’s easy to end up in bad ones. But also to have amazing meals and dinners if you follow our advices.
Tessa Just returned from a week's holiday with two teenage daughters (April 2013). Apartment was a great base to explore the island in a hire car. Apartment was all we expected, nice and quiet. Pool was not heated so we didn't spend a great deal of time at it. Could have done with two sets of keys to access pool and apartment independently. Nice local walks to coast within walking distance from apartment. Local bars and cafes are very British orientated and a subculture all of its own! We enjoyed travelling further afield each day. Collected keys from Reception on arrival and dropped off at end - all very efficient. Our return flight was at 9.15pm so it was very welcome that we were able to depart from the apartment in the afternoon. Would stay again. Thank you.
Matthew We have just returned from a weeks stay (Feb 2012) - Family of five. We found the Apartment well maintained and well furnished. The Kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook most of what we wanted to, the only downside is there is no Oven, so we couldn't do pizza! We found that most of the American TV programs also broadcast in English (just change the language on the Remote) not that we watched much TV, but worth knowing. Having two toilets was great with a family, and not something we had been used to in a Holiday apartment. We even used the washing machine, which again was a welcome addition. We were able to use the Office WiFi, which we could just about get from the Balcony, easily from the Swimming pool - Antonio said he wasn't sure we would get it from the Balcony - so an added bonus. That said all the local bars have WiFi which they are more than happy for you to take your laptop to and have a drink. We found it to be a quite complex, without feeling we couldn't enjoy a bit of fun by the pool (3 children, 17, 14 & 10) There was good communication between the Owners / agents and we had no reason to contact them during our stay, but the office was open every morning. We are already planning our return trip next February, and can hopefully stay in the same apartment again.
