The apartment in this ad is fully equipped and located in a calm and beautiful area on Kungsholmen, one of Stockholm’s fourteen islands, surrounded by straits and channels.
Kungsholmen is a popular district in Stockholm with a mix of residential areas, parks, shops and historical buildings. The modern shopping centre Västermalmsgallerian which houses a number of well-known shops is situated in walking distance to the apartment.
The area also has many grocery stores, salons, nice little shops and restaurants and cafés. Kungsholmen is famous for its beautiful promenades; a walk along Norr Mälarstrand from the park Rålambshovsparken towards the Stockholm City Hall (Stadshuset) can definitely be recommended!
In the summer, cosy restaurants and nice bars line the waterfront and are enjoyed by Stockholmers and tourists alike. The park Rålambshovsparken is a nice place for a game of boule, a meal and a swim in Riddarfjärden bay. You could also take a walk along Kungsholms strand– situated only a few minutes from Alströmergatan– towards Pampas Marina. In the summer, you will find little cafés along the waterfront, and a restaurant at the marina.
The Stockholm City Hall (Stadshuset) is situated in Upper Kungsholmen near the inner city. Guided tours of the City Hall take place daily. You can enjoy the amazing view of Stockholm from the tower and see where the Nobel Prize festivities are held. By the City Hall, right near the bridge Stadshusbron, beautiful old boats are moored. These boats will carry you out into the Stockholm archipelago and stop at one of the 30.000 islands.
If you wish to visit other parts of Stockholm, the very heart of the city is but a 15-minute walk away, just a few minutes by subway. There are 2 subway stops close to the apartment one is called Thorildsplan and the other one is Fridhemsplan.
From Fridhemsplan you are 2 stops, 4 minutes away from the T-centralen.
The apartment is about 70 sq.meters and consists of 2 rooms, kitchen and bathroom.
Check-in is flexible, we can adjust the time to your arrival. But check ins after 22.00 normally carry an extra charge.

A small (especially the bathroom) but efficient and indeed charming apartment. Very good location near T-bana station. Good shopping center nearby. Quiet place to stay at night in a small but comfortable bed. The kitchen is complete so you can cook your own meals if you wish to do so. Beautifull walk from the apartment to the citycenter by the waterfront of Norr Malarstrand. Compliment to the host for his all time immediate responses on our needs and questions.
