This is a rare loft style apartment that is on the 2nd floor of a building in a quiet private courtyard just steps away from Metro Rue des Boulets, Nation or Charonne.
The street is car free, so its easy to sleep with the windows open, and being on the second floor, its very secure, yet not difficult to bring up groceries/luggage. Inside, there a large open plan living area with large windows, skylights and an open bar/american kitchen.
Great for entertaining or receiving dinner guests.
The calm nature of the street lends itself to those with kids.... or tourists walking journey :)
The kitchen is fully equipped and can easily cater for large family dinners.
Leading away from the living room there are two further rooms, one of which is a bedroom up the stairs on a mezzanine level.
Underneath, can either be used as a home office (as pictured) or as a second bedroom sleeping area (1 double compfortable bed).
The living room sofa also doubles as a third bedroom for the possibility of accommodating additional guests.(1 clic-clac but real compfortable double bed + 1 leather sofa transformable for 2 coutches + 1 simple additionnal origami bed)
Max 8 sleeping.
Bathroom linen for each tenant, and sheets are furnished.
The neighborhood is a quiet and safe place, near Rue de Charonne where you can find lot of bars, restaurants and entertainment places that are not over prices as in the center of town... but equally good.
It is also very close to Opera Bastille, the bois de Vincennes, the Père Lachaise (large parks), and when traveling on the suburban RER station from Nation its 1 stop from Gare du Lyon (train station for the south) 2 stops from Chatelet (center of Paris) 3 stops from the Arc de Triumph (champs Elysees) and 4 stops from La Defense.
The RER is the quickest way to get around Paris- Way faster then the Metro! Really practical to go to Airports although.
The metro line 9 (station at the feets of the flat) is direct for metro station Trocadero (Eiffel Tour), then Eiffel Tour without long walks.
The metro line 2 (station Philippe Auguste 5 minuts from the flat) is direct for metro station Anvers (Montmartre)

Nous avons passé deux jours fin février, en famille, dans cet appartement très agréable, très propre et très calme car situé dans une impasse. Bonne situation géographique tout près du métro et donc accès facile aux sites touristiques du centre de Paris. Recommandons fortement cette location pour une famille et jusqu'à 6 personnes. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous reviendrons. Laurence et Pierre
