Nearby you have various forms of traditional commerce, and it is walking distance from the majority of the most popular sightseeing destinations in Lisbon. It is also at a walking distance to the train station Santa Apolónia, connecting the capital to the northern part of Portugal and also to the trains coming from Spain. The car circulation in Alfama is limited to residents, so if you are coming by car you should find a parking place outside the neighbourhood.
