Newly renovated one bedroom apartment, in a quiet & friendly residential mid 80’s Upper East Side Street. The Apt conveniently located a few blocks away from the 86th & 77th streets subway station, Central Park and the E River boardwalk. The apartment has great light exposure from the Northeast to the Northwest. One queen size bedroom, a large living room with a queen size sofa bed, nice size bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and large dining table, (Full size air mattress also supply, if needed a small crib also supply). 42” flat screen TV, cables and Wireless Internet. Air conditioning and heat through out the apartment. Laundry in the building. Laundry in the building. The neighborhood offers great shops, restaurants, night life and the apartment is only steps away from the Museum miles, the cross town busses (M86, M79 & M31) and the 4, 5 & 6 Subway station on 86th, 77th & Lexington that will get you anywhere in Manhattan in no time. Our stay here was quite nice. The apartment had more than enough space for the 4 of us and it was in a nice location. Ari was very helpful in helping us fix the clogged toilet and even getting the handle on the flush replaced. She was also very accommodating with the time we checked in and out of the apartment. The only complaint would be that some of the sheets had stains on them, I'm not sure if they were permanent, irremovable ones but I would have expected completely clean sheets since we had to pay a $100 cleaning fee.
Die Wohnung war sauber und ordentlich, was wir für unseren Kurztrip benötigten, war vorhanden. Die Wohngegend ist ruhig, in der Nähe hat man Möglichkeiten zum Lebensmittel einkaufen. Zu fünft eine Woche war es etwas beengt - so haben wir aus den Koffern gelebt, aber da wir jeden Tag viel unterwegs waren hat es für uns gepasst. Nicht so gut war pro Doppelbett nur eine Decke bzw. pro Person ein großes und ein kleines Handtuch, das war für eine Woche doch zu wenig. Ein zweites Duschhandtuch pro Person wäre toll, eine weitere Decke pro Bett auch, da wir (5 Freundinnen) doch gerne jeder eine eigene Decke gehabt hätte. Mit der Vermieterin und der Kaution verlief alles reibungslos, toll war dass wir die Koffer bis nachmittags in der Wohnung lassen konnten. Ich würde die Wohnung vier Personen auf jeden Fall empfehlen - wenn es auch 15 Minuten zur U-Bahn zu laufen ist, der Bus ist näher.
Host response We are sorry about the stains, we can assure you that all is washed and clean, those are un- removable stains that the cleaning lady missed, she know she supposed to put in the trash all stained sheets and towels. We will make sure to give more attention.
