This charming studio apartment has been cleverly designed to provide stylish contemporary holiday accommodation in the very heart of the Edinburgh capital. Your holiday begins with a welcome pack complete with toiletries and delicious shortbread - handmade in Edinburgh.. With a top floor location and balcony, the amazing panoramic views over Edinburgh Castle are second to none.
The "Old Town" is immersed in history and the Grassmarket is set in the shadow of the Castle, and is walking distance to all the major venues for the Edinburgh Fringe/festival. The square itself boasts a vast array of shops/cafes/pubs and restaurants.
Clever lighting and bright décor make this apartment feel remarkably spacious and would be a great location for any couple wishing to have a romantic break in this wonderful city.
There is a sitting room with a kitchen area and breakfast bar, containing a sofa which converts to a double sofa bed for two additional guests.
The kitchen has all the facilities and equipment you need to fully self cater, including a fridge/freezer, four ring hob and electric oven, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, electric hand whisk and mini food processor.
The bedroom area has a double bed with ample hanging storage and leads out to the balcony in the shadow of the castle.
For young families a cot and high chair are available for a small extra charge.
For cost conscious visitors to the festival this flat is the ideal offering and with Edinburgh Castle providing the backdrop, the Military Tattoo is a very unique experience as is the world famous Edinburgh festival during the month of August. At Castle Wynd Apartment guests can watch the Edinburgh Tattoo fireworks at night, overhead from the balcony.

This apartment was in a great location. We found it very easy to have access to such a great variety of food outlets. We enjoyed many of them. It was amazing to be so close to Edinburgh Castle, and have it's imposing structure as part of our outlook. Six flights of stairs was a challenge! The balcony offered no shelter from cold and rain. Otherwise, a great apartment. Barb
The location of this accomodation is perfect- surrounded by lovely resturants, cafes and bars and not far from anywhere we wanted to be! We were a group of 4 (mum and 3 sisters) so the fact it's a studio and we were all in one room did not matter at all - the room is also very big. The apartment has everything you could need and the view of the castle is outstanding. My family didn't mention it, but personally I do think it could be a bit cleaner- some areas are a bit grubby. Overall though, great value and we would come back. Communications were second to none.
