How does it feel to live in Rua Augusta? (the most central street in Lisbon downtown).
Check it out for yourself by staying in this romantic and comfortable bedroom on the 3rd floor of an apartment in a XVIII th century building. It has 20sqm and a living-room area with sofa, hi-fi, internet, etc.. Access to bathroom and full equiped kitchen where you can cook and enjoy free tea and coffee.
The apartment has lots of natural light and is located between Alfama, Castelo, Chiado and Bairro Alto the most important and typical neighbourhoods. Close to all the finest restaurants, cafés, theaters, bars, shops, public transports, monuments, etc..
Close to bus stops to all parts of the city; 5 minutes walk to Chiado/ Bairro alto area, and a 15 minutes walking distance to the train that will take you to the amazing coastal town of Estoril and Cascais with its beach and shops.
Viewpoints: Miradouro de Santa Luzia, Miradouro da Graça, Mirad.São Pedro de Alcântara, Mirad. de Santa Catarina.
The Castle, Panteão Nacional, Sé catedral, Casa dos Bicos, MUDE ( Museum of fashion and Design), Chapitô, Feira da Ladra
Trams: 28, Glória tram, Bica tram
Sintra (40 min. by train from Estação do Rossio)
Cascais (40 minutes by train from Est. do Cais do Sodré)
(Not suitable to elderly people).
HOW TO GET TO THE APARTMENT:
Lisbon airport is just 20 minutes away.
A taxi from the airport should not cost more than
10 euros.
Aerobus is 3,50/person ( closest stop: Rossio)
Subway: Go to 'Alameda', then change to the green line to 'Cais do Sodré' direction and stop at 'Baixa-Chiado' ( there is a lift to go up), then, exit to 'Rua do Ouro', go straight and you will find 'Rua Augusta' ( go to the left side).
IMPORTANT: not recommended for elderly people

Très bon accueil, la chambre et l'appartement correspondent exactement à l'annonce. Sandra nous laisse disposer de la cuisine car le petit déjeuner n'est pas inclus. Quartier très animé, plein centre de Lisbonne. La rue est piétonne mais très bruyante : de nombreuses terrasses de restaurant y sont installées.
