" The detached villa is ideally located in a peaceful setting on the edge of the stunning historic village of Roquebrun. The house is set in private gardens and has a magnificent view of vineyards and the Orb valley. It is only 100m from the river where you can swim, fish and canoe. The house is a short walk from a choice of restaurants, wineries, tapas bar and shops. The house has been recently renovated to a high standard and has all mod cons a large sitting room and very large south-facing terrace, sun loungers and a hammock.
The river Orb holds the greatest source of leisure activities; swimming, fishing and boating. There is a kayak centre in Roquebrun as well as cycle hire. The property is only 40mins from the Mediterranean sea and 30mins from the Gorges d'Heric. Visits to the wineries and time spent exploring the little meandering streets of the medieval village of Roquebrun as well as surrounding villages are a must. There are delightful markets in Roqquebrun, Cessenon and St Chinian. But the best moments are probably just soaking up the sun and natural beauty of the parc naturel du haut Languedoc. "
