Nous avons séjourné à Linden's house à la fin du mois d'avril 2013. L'appartement est très bien situé et près du centre ville touristique. Il est propre et les chambres très confortables. Les deux salles de bain complètes plus une toilette additionnelle sont un atout. Les propriétaires sont très aceuillants et veulent aider; cependant ils parlent peu le français ou l'anglais ce qui rend la communication plus compexe pour des touristes qui ne parlent pas le portugais. L'appartement est conforme à la description. L'équipement de la cuisine est adéquat au niveau des électroménagers mais il manque d'ustensiles et de chaudrons. Il n'y a pas de cafetière. Tout près de l'appartement (pratiquement au dessous) on retouve un café ainsi qu'un petit dépanneur; cela est très pratique.
Really nice people, waited for us to arrive and we were very late and helped with bags plus came and helped us drive the car up to the door. Good chaps. House is big and nicely done. Communication before arrival was hard but worth persisting with. These are nice people who are there to help, I would go back to this property as it is really central too. Thank you hosts.
Très bien située pour qui arrive de l'aéroport (direct avec la ligne E), cette maison de ville a du charme. Le compteur "saute" souvent, c'est vrai, mais le problème n'est pas insurmontable. Prévoir un pull en hiver, le chauffage est assuré uniquement par radiateurs mobiles (d'où le problème électrique. Calme et proche du centre ville, le logement nous a permis de visiter facilement à pieds (7 adultes). Par contre, je le déconseille aux jeunes enfants en raison des escaliers, assez raides. Petits problèmes de communication avant l'arrivée mais accueil très sympathique.
We are currently staying at 804 Rue de Santa Catarina in Porto from Friday 28 September to Monday 1st October. We are writing to express our disappointment in a number of areas with the apartment. 1. Two single adjacent bedrooms on the first floor have only been partially partitioned with unpainted tongue and groove, with a 30cm open gap and no privacy between the rooms. 2.The electricity circuit is clearly not able to cope with the appliances. The fuses tripped the first time we tried to boil water. We managed to find the electricity meter and switch back on. If this had happened in the dark we would not have found the meter. It has happened a second time since. 3. The refrigerator does not work and is not cold however the thermostat is set (though the freezer compartment does work). 4. There are no instructions at all in the house, and the landlords do not speak english
