The house is located in the historic center of Catania and in front of CASTELLO URSINO, built onXIII. The privileged position within the tourist route from Catania and its night life make it unique and very convenient to stay in the city. From here, with brief walks, you can visit almost all the main tourist places of the city and during the evening you will be in the middle of the night life (restaurants, pubs and discos). Among the sites immediate neighbors: the Duomo, the greek amphitheater and the odeon, the Benedictine monastery, the Roman amphitheater, the romans baths, the Gammazita's well , the river Amenano, Palazzo Biscari , Via Etnea, Teatro Bellini.
With the help of public transport 10 minutes to get to the area of sandy beaches and volcanic rock beaches, and you can reach Etna, with about 40 minutes by car.
They can be made available to the bikes to get around the city center.
The house was recently renovated by architect owner giving a contemporary style while preserving the details and materials, historical traditions of the place and the building. The house is located on the second floor of a historic building and is on two levels: the first level living area with um large lounge with TV and projector, surround sound and a dining area, modern kitchen very comfortable (with barbecue) , a common bathroom with majolica of the twentieth century. The whole plan is built around a garden terrace with stunning views of the Castello Ursino.
At the top level there are two large bedrooms with a total of 6 palces. The two rooms have private baths and one of the rooms have exclusive access to the terrace with a private sundeck with outdoor shower and beautiful views of the volcano Mount Etna. At the same level is also the laundry area. The house has WIFI and PC.
All the furniture is design and some pieces were made on an exclusive design of its owner.
The place is far 10 min (by car) to airport and 10 min to railway station. At 5 min from the main street (shopping). At 5 min by taxi there is a teminal bus to catch bus to Taormina (40min), Syracuse and Ortigia (30 min) and other amazing places of Sicily.
