Wir hatten eine fantastische Woche in London, nicht zuletzt weil wir uns in diesen Quartier sehr wohlgefühlt haben. Wer es verschmerzen kann nicht innerhalb von 20 Min. am Piccadilly Circus zu stehen, dafür aber nach einem hektischen Tag in der City in einer ruhigen Lage zurück zukehren ist hier genau richtig. Supermarkt und Bäcker sind innerhalb von 10 Min zu erreichen. Sauberkeit in ist absolut Top. Handtücher in allen Größen sind vorhanden (Duschen/Waschen einmal ausgewechselt). Die Küchenausstattung ist nicht wie zuhause, aber wer solche Quartiere bucht weiß das und wird nicht auf die Idee kommen ein 4 Gänge Promidinner kochen zu wollen. Das Bett war sehr bequem, wer an der Wand schläft muss aber über sein Partner rollen um raus zu kommen. TV ist nur englischsprachige, wer damit nicht klar kommt sollte von zuhause DVD's mitbringen. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
Dear reader, we really recommend this Studio Apartment in North West London. What you see is what you get. The photographs give a very good impression of what to expect. The studio is complete, very clean, well-kept, the bed and cushions are comfortable as well as the futon. Another asset is the location. The studio is a 5 to 10 minute walk from Rayner’s Lane Metropolitan Station (of the Piccadilly Line as well as the Metropolitan Line) and situated in a quiet street. It’s wonderful to come “home” to after a busy day in London City Centre. The host is very friendly, welcoming as well as helpful. My son and I definitely consider coming back in the (near) future. We liked - the location (handy to transport to London), adequately equipped kitchen, comfortable bed with nice linen, unit was very clean, warm welcome from host. We would've liked - a clock, access to a clothes dryer (were given a drying rack which took up a lot of space in an already cramped room), somewhere to put suitcases, more than 2 towels, bigger towels, more coathangers, off street parking, easier communication with the owner (diffficult to locate him). The on-line photos were deceptive - the place is VERY small and is really not suitable for any more than 2 people. I didnt like having the bed up against the wall and having to climb over my partner each time i wanted to get in and out of bed.
Très bon studio, très bien équipé et propre. la cuisine est très bien avec tout ce qu'il faut comme ustensile. Le lit est confortable. Il y'a un petit supermarché qui est ouvert jusqu'à 23h.Le métro est a 10 min a pied et il dessert la ligne principal Piccadilly line .Vous êtes dans le centre en 30 min. Esther et Don sont vraiment très gentils. Nous avons été très bien accueillis!! même si vous n'êtes pas dans le centre c'est une location que je recommande.
Respuesta del propietario The accommodation is advertised as a studio flat, not large but perfectly adequate, the price reflects that. If I remember, I offered the use of our dryer but you wished to use a drying rack. It seemed that you used the accommodation as a launderette for the few days of your stay before continuing with your travels. Bath towels are provided (not sure how much bigger you wished for!) and extra towels are always in the wardrobe which has a large shelf above for suitcases and also plenty of hangers! Off street parking is available but as you wished to use the car regularly I gave you parking vouchers to use on a very quiet street which you seemed quite happy with, I was trying to be helpful! I do not recall a time that you had difficulty contacting anybody. The photos clearly show the bed against the wall. In addition to that the place was left extremely dirty.
