One bedroom apartment, 2nd floor by stairs, recently decorated, fully furnished and equipped. Wooden floor throughout. Living room with double sofa bed, dinning table for 4 persons. American kitchen. Bedroom with double bed, drawer and wardrobe. Full equipped bath with cabin shower, with hidromassage. Bed linen and towels provided.
IMPORTANT NOTE :: For the year-end season, the minimum stay is 5 nights, this starts from December 21 until January 6.
Gran Via is one of the main streets of Madrid, starting in Alcala Street and ending at the Plaza de España. It is an important landmark in the city from a commercial point of view, tourism and leisure. It is famous for its theaters, though in recent years some have closed and others have successfully converted to musical theater, so the stretch between the Plaza de Callao and Plaza de España is known as the Broadway of Madrid . The stretch between the Red de San Luis and Plaza de Callao now hosts many international and fashion chain stores.
On this road lies the Telefónica building, tallest skyscraper in Spain in 1929, with 88 meters, the Metropolis Building, first skyscraper in Madrid, Edificio España, 117 meters, built in 1953 or the Torre de Madrid, 142 meters, was the tallest skyscraper in Europe.
The Plaza de Callao is located at the end of the street price, and in the middle of the Gran Via. Like the Gran Vía, Plaza de Callao was built between 1910 and 1940, and is one of the most renowned meeting places of the city with great shopping and gastronomic offer.
In addition, in this area is located the famous Puerta del Sol, where you can find the so-called Kilometer Zero of all Spanish roads. The Post House clock especially emphasizes, built and donated in the nineteenth century by José Rodríguez de Losada, and whose bells of 12 midnight December 31 marks the tradition oft eating the twelve grapes of the vast majority of the Spanish peolple.
Metro: Sol (lines 1, 2 & 3, also Cercanias train). Walking distance to anywhere.

Appart très chouette: très bien situé, à 2 pas de la Puerta del sol, 2 pièces fonctionnelles et agréables. Plutôt pour 2 que pour 4. Cuisine américaine avec lave-linge (manque un peu de vaisselle). A recommander!
Points positifs : centre ville, appartement fonctionnel et propre, bon rapport qualité/prix Points négatifs : bruit de la rue, manque de couverts/verres et de petit électroménager
appartement très propre et confortable pour 2 personnes ( bien que le canapé soit un peu plus vétuste que celui de la photo...) Prévoir les boules Quiès car le quartier très central et animé est vivant jusque très tôt le matin! Mais les principaux Musées et monuments sont accessibles à pieds, ce qui est très agréable!
Très bon logement. Correspondant à la description. Propre, clair, bien équipé ; bons couchages. Salle de bains un peu petite, mais correcte. Situation centrale idéale : toutes les visites possibles à pied et station de métro très proche. Quartier très sympa. Un peu bruyant pour qui aime le calme, mais ambiance très vivante pour qui aime les sorties et les bars à tapas. Excellent rapport qualité-prix.
