It's probably the best location in whole housetrip-Istanbul.
Whoever knows Istanbul, can undertstand the truth.
I have a flat. Right at Center of Taksim. Which is close to anywhere you'd like to visit. In our neighbourhood there are many hotels.
It's an old building with sculptures on ceiling, as an architect I did architectural drawings of it.
In my opinion for young people or whoever feels young its the best option. I don't recommend it for mentally old people
There are 2 rooms and a balcony.
Pls dont smoke inside house.

Berkan is a great host, we arrived at 4am and he was looking out for us in case we had trouble finding it. The flat is very central and easy to get to all the main attractions on the tram etc. Berkan took us out to see the local area which he is very knowledgable about, and showed us lots of good shops, cafes etc. Berkan was very attentive emailing us and popping by to ask if we needed anything. The flat is basic for shower/toilet/cooking facilities (but also very spacious - useful for a mum with 2 teenagers who need their own space) - we were out all the time anyway and there was no need to cook in the flat (there are cheap food places everywhere). It is true that it is noisy, but that is to be expected in a busy central area. The flat has internet which my teenage sons were delighted to have. It is suitable for people who can see from the pictures and reviews that it is a simple place, and if you are intending getting out and about, then it won't matter. We thought it was great value for money. Berkan is a lovely guy, and if he is ever in Scotland he would be most welcome to stay with us.
Berkan's apartment is full of love. We stayed there for 8 nights and it was a wonderful experience. Berkan himself is THE best host you can ever imagine having, he took us out and showed us many lovely secret places that a tourist would never be able to discover and he was always there if something was wrong in the house. The location is the best you can get. Strongly recommended.
Berkan ist ein netter Kerl, der einen gern tolle Geheimtipps in Istanbul zeigt. Weniger widmet er sich den Gastgeberpflichten. Das Zimmer können wir nicht empfehlen: Es gibt keinerlei Rückzugsmöglichkeit und wir mussten uns in den ersten zwei Nächten sogar das eine Zimmer mit dem Gastgeber teilen, weil in unserem gebuchten eine dreiköpfige Familie aus Versehen länger blieb. Es gibt keine (saubere) Fläche, um irgendwo etwas abzulegen, die Dusche war durchgehend kalt und die Toilette (winzig) benutzten wir zu fünft, der Badimer quoll über. Überall lag Müll, Kram, es war schmutzig und laut. Die Zimmertüren haben zerschlagene Scheiben, von der Straße dringt Partylärm bis morgens ins Zimmer. Wir wählten trotz Regen und Kälte im Herbst wegen der Wohnungsmängel lieber das Draussen. Aber wir sind auch keine Studis mehr...
Respuesta del propietario If these Fliederweiss's would be my first guests at housetrip, i'd definitely cancel my housetrip account. The real reason of this comment is that: there was one more family with a lovely baby, and they needed to stay ONE extra night when Fliederweiss's were here. i didn't take any extra cent for that. But it was a tereible weather and i didnt ask them to leave in such a bad weather. so they were all together at first night. These people are not able to understand English for sure! They are also ungrateful. they should be ashamed to write such things after all i've done. i still wish them the best. but i also hope i wont ever see them again. Alles Gute... Berkan
